He'd be a great get at #12. Plus he'd have less pressure on him. Idk, but I don't like the Browns. If they'd have selected Carson Wentz last year he would have been destroyed by lack of pass protection, wouldn't have completed as many passes as he did w/ the Eagles, would have been hurt after 4 games & would have been considered a bust. As it is he's a bright young star in the league.

I think he was a non-qualifier. So Idk if he'll be on campus in the fall, or not... let alone eligible to play.

I don't follow the Browns, but Trubisky doesn't seem like a player you'd wanna take a flyer on with the #1 pick. Unfortunately for the Brownies, there doesn't seem to be a QB worthy of the #1 pick. If they select Trubisky they're simply hoping to catch lightning in a bottle. Good luck.

Good question. I did notice they now follow each other on twitter. Torrey's a PG & David's a 2G. Could be quite the combo, to say the least.

It's gonna be fun watching he and Graves battle it out a few times a year. Wish we had Groce last year - we'd probably have signed both Graves and Torrey.

You're right. Sewell came in and contributed right away. Good call! I do think, though, that Boxen redshirted his true freshman year.

I hope you're right, but I never hold my breath anticipating a true freshman to contribute on either line, offensive or defensive. These guys almost always require a year of eating and lifting weights. Can anyone remember a true freshman who was a real contributor on the D-line? I can't, but I'm sure someone has to be slipping my mind.

LePear Toles did. He simply thought he was being under-recruited. Fork Union Academy gave him an extra year to work on his game & to see if any more programs made offers.

Jamal Davis is still with the team. He was just a little banged up so they held him out of the Spring Game. Idk why he's not currently on the roster. He's gonna be our starting MLB & will play DE in some packages. Our starting LB's have the potential to be pretty amazing.

To be honest I wasn't watching very closely. I was mostly visiting w/ two friends I brought trying to introduce them to Zips football. Did our two new LB's play? Jamal Davis & James King? If so, how did they look? And did WR Nate Stewart Play?

Agreed. He's such an amazing physical specimen. Btw, current East HS senior RB & Davanier Floyd was at the game today. He's given a verbal commitment to the Zips. Dude walked by me and man, he is just absolutely stacked. He runs a 4.44 40 & is the current City Series 100 meter champ. He'd be our #2 back today if he were on the team. (Well, maybe #3 when Deltron Sands gets healthy.)
