  1. Buffalo apparently looking to build a pipeline to STVM
  2. Broke by Beaven... This guy's a stud. Happy day
  3. Thought I'd go ahead and start this thread because this game is sneaking up on us! "TRAP GAME, this is," said Master Yoda. Sandwiched in between our 1st tilt w/ Buffalo & our 2nd go around w/ Ohio, we'll be on the road at Northern Illinois, who sits in 1st place in the MAC West and boasts an overall record of 13-8 (5-3 MAC). NIU is a team which wins both at home and on the road, with road victories over Kant, FIU, USF, BUGS, & most recently, at Toledo. In Dekalb they've beaten (among others) Indiana State, Idaho, UIC, & Central Michigan. Like everyone else in the MAC, they're going to want to prove their manhood against us, so they'll get a good nights' sleep & eat their Wheaties before the game. I believe that I heard somewhere that we were chartering a flight to Dekalb? So at least we won't have to suffer through that long bus ride. Hope the fellas can re-focus & be ready to play yet another tough one.
  4. Looks like Kwan's family feels the same way about him putting it on the floor once in a while. Lol.
  5. True, true; good points!
  6. Double post. Should have placed this here. McK's Joe Corner is going to Walsh.
  7. Joe Corner (Reggie Jr.'s cousin?) is going to Walsh. That's a much better fit for him and (apparently) frees up a spot for us.
  8. Just a hunch, but I'd bet he was gently told we were stacked at the position. Bardo was a very early commit & is undersized. He may turn out to be a great college talent, but I'm not in the least bit dismayed over is de-commitment. I've still got my fingers crossed for Bubba.
  9. This. Despite the score being so tight all night, there was no flow to the game and the result was that, IMHO, it was actually kinda boring.
  10. This is where I am in my thinking. I've appreciated Kwan's game for 3 years now; he just happens to be absolutely blowing the MAC away this year. But I'm going with Jimmy Conyers. Even though I do believe we call it the Jawanza Moore Award, I actually appreciated what Jawanza brought to the floor for more than one year. I considered Jimmy a complete bust until his breakout senior year. Jimmy was like a deer in headlights.
  11. I was just looking at Buffalo's schedule. How on earth is that team only 9-12?!?!
  12. Beacon: Last-second free throw by Isaiah Johnson lifts Zips to win over Bulls Good postgamer by GT. He mentions our soft D as the team's real problem.
  13. If you can stand the UPS ad concerning Sophie's birthday, here is a link to KD's postgame presser Edit: KD mentioned something I mentioned earlier: that Buffalo doesn't fear us at all. "They think they can punk us."
  14. Wish we had offered Bentley earlier. Hope it's not too late. I think he's a good player, almost a carbon copy of Hoban's Jabari Taylor. Maybe we offered Bent after Taylor opted for Cincy.
  15. Humble guy.
  16. They looked great. We don't intimidate Buffalo in the slightest. They play us with so much confidence. Great rivalry.
  17. LeBron was 100% chill tonight, except for Kwan's back-to-back 25-foot 3 pointers. He was standing out ON THE COURT when he hit those! He quickly sat back down both times. Savanah just looked @ him, laughed & shook her head. Lol.
  18. Don't like taking Ivey out
  19. Glad I'm not the coach
  20. I'd rather KD sub in Utomi than Josh.
  21. Once again Buffalo is long and athletic. Always give our guards trouble.
  22. There he is! Never mind. He was probably just taking a pregame dump
