Blue & Gold

'Twas the night before kickoff and still no official word on Tommy Brown?

Bowden & Co. have done an outstanding job stocking up on DL talent. Below is everyone listed on the DL from GoZips.com. We're good to go on the DL for the next 4 years. 56 Deon'Tae Moore DE RFr. 6-2 230 Akron, Ohio / Kenmore HS 53 Travonte Junius DE/LB Fr. 6-3 205 Akron, Ohio / St. Vincent-St. Mary HS 50 Brock Boxen DL Fr. 6-3 272 New Galilee, Pa. / Beaver Falls HS 97 Undrea Bullard DL Fr. 6-6 250 St. Petersburg, Fla. / Gibbs HS 11 Nordly Capi DL Sr. 6-3 252 Ocoee, Fla. / Colorado State / Ocoee HS 94 Anthony Clark DL Fr. 6-4 276 Akron, Ohio / Buchtel HS 91 Rodney Coe DL Jr. 6-3 305 Fulton, Mo. / Iowa State / Iowa Western CC / Edwardsville HS 95 Darius Copeland DL So. 6-1 257 Ft. DT Lavonne Gauthney's listed again.

Take a look at Jerome Lane's bio on GoZips.com. We all know what a stud he is, but they put absolutely NO effort into that bio whatsoever. If you weren't familiar with Jerome, you'd think he was awful. And those junior stats they have listed can't be right.

GoZips.com updated the roster this morning & Deon'Tae Moore is now listed.

I love all whites.

Great to hear about Gauthney and Moore. What was Boxen playing, DE or DT?

Really? So no traditional gold - what do they call it, "old gold" - this year? Though old gold is my all-time favorite, that's alright. We needed to shake things up a bit. As long as we never resort to yellow!

They'd better get architectural renderings before the public sooner, rather than later. They've had quite a while. Only three months out.

Lots of duplicate numbers. Is that common?

I think that's the Canton Field House.

I'm so Akron... I'm a Zips' fan.

Looks like the U & city are going for a facility similar to the Bank United Center in Miami - basketball home of the U of Miami Hurricanes. Similar seating capacity (ours will actually be a bit larger) and is basketball/concerts only, i.e., no hockey/soccer. http://www.bankunitedcenter.com

Just to throw my 2 cents in, I never much cared for the A-Roo logo. I thought the "A" barely looked like an "A" - especially from a distance, and Zippy looked like a donkey. I much prefer the "Z" logo. I lift in my black Zeke Marshall "Z" t-shirt all the time; probably the most bad-@ss shirt I've got. I love it.

Okay, cool. I thought maybe I had missed some news. Harney wasn't playing very inspired ball at the end of last season.

^^Harney?

Huge! Go Zips!

Today's the day. Go Zips!

Since this is going to be on the ballot in November, which will be here before we know it, we should probably see some pretty detailed architectural renderings rather soon, right?

Pretty funny. Loved the laugh track. Tom really got into that!

This is accurate. Darryl Roberts was a 6-foot, 1st Team All-Ohio DI PG coming out of high school. I'd love to have a Darryl Roberts on the team now.

Dambrot supports downtown arena (surprise?). http://www.cantonrep.com/article/20140428/SPORTS/140429176/2000/NEWS Pretty lame article.

It doesn't sound like Ivey is a grey-shirt, as we were speculating. He'll be eligible to play next year?
