Well said. This pretty much sums up my present feelings about the program and this season. I do, however, hope we have something to get excited about by the end of the year.I guess I'm just excited to see if the Info can make an impact on the caliber of recruit we bring in. The Indiana game was really an eye-opener.

Before the Morgan State game I watched as some clearly-plastered, glassy-eyed chick petted on one of the mounted police horses for a few minutes. The cop said nothing. She wasn't hurting anyone. Everyone, police included, were in pleasant, friendly moods. Kudos to the APD & UAPD. Btw, the mounties are a great touch. People love them & they add even more flair to the gameday environment.

Also, if you saw him in a walking boot, well, those D-1 athletes get better treatment & more pampering than any of the rest of us. If he did have a slight ankle sprain, they might put him in a boot for a day or two, whereas they'd tell you or me to just walk it off. Lol.

I can't vote with my BlackBerry, but definitely Matt Rogers. We need to move forward with Matt.Definitely not Jacq.Keep Nicely's redshirt if at all possible.Now, if Rogers gets hurt I'd be for burning Nicely's redshirt, but not otherwise. Let Wackerly take the mop-up-duty snaps this season.

I hope Jacq doesn't have anything to do with highly regarded OL recruit Joe Patchuta (sp?) leaving training camp after only two days. That's be a travesty.Anyway, if this is true, wow, wow, wow. Stealing from your own teammates?!?! What an @sshole. The team oughta let big, bad 'Mondo beat the hell outta him.

I was thinking the same. For Jacq to do this now, of all times - right before arguably the biggest game in the growing programs history is inexcusable. The team (coaches) really may want to give serious consideration to simply moving forward with Rogers. Anyway, wow, what a blow.

You guys played the Imperial March?! Good! I was going to post that we NEED to hear that score for our defense!I wasn't aware that you guys had rocked the Imperial March because I'm sitting in the east grandstands GA area and it was a bit difficult to hear the band. But, hey, you get what you pay for, I guess, and I'm in the cheap seats.

I wouldn't die on this hill, but I think we should televise as many games as possible. People are trained to believe that an event is a big deal if it's on tv. We need the people of NEO to start considering Zips games to be a big deal.As an aside - the Info is so well designed and so impressive, that if they would have announced an attendance figure of 40,000 I don't think many would have doubted it.

AMEN! The preseason ranking greatly weigh the system & thus largely predetermine the late-season rankings to the advantage of their traditional favorites. The NCAA is a racket and the BCS is a scam.

Pregame was/is great!If you're looking for suggestions for the musical selections for halftime, may I suggest major motion picture scores? I find them both artistic and rocking! Almost anything by John Williams would fit the bill. I think a halftime show featuring the music from Star Wars, Superman, Raiders of the Lost Ark, etc., etc. would be great. Throw in the themes to Spy Hunter and Mission Impossible & man, you probably would have enough great material for every halftime show for the rest of the season! I think the people would love it, and, in playing these orchestral scores - albeit "pop" orchestral scores - I believe the band would definitely retain a sense of artistic integrity.

I hadn't seen this asked or discussed yet. So, does anyone know whether we had a boatload of recruits @ Saturday's opener? I'm assuming we did, but if so, does anyone know who may have been in attendance?
