Great sounding starting 5.
But that would likely push Thornton to backup PG (correct?)...
... which would likely push Tavari to #3 PG.
I'd be interested to see how Tavari handles that.
And @clarkwgriswold, what's the breakfast/practice you referred to? Was that made public? I don't remember hearing about that opportunity.
I love Nate. But he needs more confidence in himself. Iβve got more confidence in Nate than Nate has in himself. Iβm excited to see what kind of jump, if any, heβs made this off-season.
I posted this on 7/6 in the 2023 Season thread. I'll copy & paste here...
My projections (as of 7/6)

That makes 12 HS recruits for next year. We may really slam on the brakes in regards to HS recruits this cycle, no? Hold the remaining spots for transfers & JUCO's?
Me too. I thought with Long coming in Hoban was going to be able to force defenses to be honest by stretching the field like they were able to do w/ Shane Hamm under center. Not so. It was Sperling or bust.
Great topic! We should never, never, never get rid of our gold helmets & our traditional gold-blue-gold uni's, but my favorite alternate uniforms are when we go solid colors w/ all white or all blue head-to-toe
Keon transferred in from Maryland & I thought heβd play straightaway, kinda like our OL transfer from Penn State did last year (Iβm forgetting his nameβ¦ Whigan?). Then with Kabbash Richards there was a lot of hype on the board about his verbal & he had a lot of interest from other schools. With how weak our DE pass rushing was last year I thought heβd also get on the field pretty quickly & (hopefully) remedy that.
