  1. You guys should start with something simple. Get back to the "Z-I"...."P-S!" That's easy to pick up for the newbs.
  2. In the "ouch" category...a 24 point win at home drops the Zips 10 spots in RPI and 29 points in SOS to 60 and 120 respectively.
  3. Per ESPN, 4378. Solid crowd. Lets hope for BIGGGGG crowds the last three home games. I'm guessing we're at the best numbers, attendance wise, of the Dambrot era.
  4. I was quite impressed. It was similar to EMU, except a worse team and during a Winter Storm Warning. Probably 4k again.
  5. Man...there is a banshee in there. They need to turn the court mikes down.
  6. NIU is averaging 55ppg. I don't think there's any way they hit 60 against us. 74-51, Zips.
  7. Thought the same thing. Apparently not in Oklahoma. KD has switched from the trademark Diet Pepsi, I think it happened last year. Caffeine free Lipton. Yum?
  8. Yep. Go all non-conf opponents! And we need a 12-0 bracket buster for the MAC. The game at ORU sure is looking a lot more winnable if RPI #248 takes em to OT.
  9. CSU loses at home to Valpo. Valpo should jump into the top 100 RPI. Bracketbuster foe Oral Roberts down 4 at the half at home vs. #248 IUPUI.
  10. Amen. My wife and I made the trip to Valpo for those two games and that loss just ruined the trip. I've NEVER been so disgusted with officiating.
  11. CSU loses by 18.
  12. FYI....Valpo has jumped on CSU an the Convocation Center. 25-8, late in the 1st half. If Valpo wins, our "bad loss" disappears, as they'll infiltrate the top 100 RPI.
  13. Amen. It's probably the "Dambrot hot seat" people from last year. I completely disagree with the "outcoached" comments. We were playing the best team in the west on the road. The same team that came within 5 at OU and took K-ent to OT. If WMU is healthy all year, they're tops in the west and it probably isn't close. I look for them to sweep their 2nd run in the west. And we won a game, on the road, with zilch for offensive contributions from our seniors. Good teams find ways to win when they shouldn't.
  14. +1
  15. Yep. Now for two in a row home-cookin in preparation for the Bracketbuster & MAC East. Arguably our worst game of the year (except, ironically, from the line), and we pull off a win over a very underrated WMU team. Good job guys. I'd like to say that I called the Toledo upset today (via facebook status), and shared with a friend in Vegas. He promptly bent a parlay of Toledo to win, Akron to cover, and the over (140.5) for the Akron game, even though i told him to stay away from the Zips tonight.
  16. Time for a stop.
  17. Stainbrook is dirty...dirty dirty player. Shoves and elbows when no one is watching.
  18. Ugh. McClankahan....
  19. Nevermind.
  20. Thank God the MAC officials chose not to reward a star player for taking a flop. You're one of your team's best players. PLAY DEFENSE. Anyone listen to the radio? Gilliam injured? He hasn't been back in this half.
  21. Toledo very much could hold of OU. I don't think EMU has the offense to keep up the pace and beat K-ent. We could end up tied with the Bulls after tonight, making the matchup at the JAR imperative. Unless the "switch" goes on soon...we're in trouble.
  22. This is frustrating to watch. I haven't seen an egg this bad since WVU. Our only hope is 3 fouls on each of their solid bigs.
  23. Zips getting manhandled. Rough game without a lot of whistles favors WMU greatly. We're getting beat up on both sides of the ball.
  24. Not a lot of whistles out there. Gotta hit from the perimeter.
  25. Was that the same game last year that someone punched Q (?) in the back of the head in a fast break?
