the man cant even reply to email from respectful fans of the school/teams. not even a cursory form letter of apology. you really think this a$$hole will issue any kind of statement? I hope he reads these boards, this man is every bit as guilty as our shitty conference commissioner for the fact this team wasnt selected for the post season. I'm sure it was something to the effect of "well, we're not gonna make the ncaas, but just barely. so we're a lock on the nit." so they sat back and watched....Fire em both. we're better off without them. Maybe someone from athletics will have the b@ll$ to at least give us something on here. yea right...

Yeah...well...some big upsets in the major conferences have burst the zips bubble (if it was ever there in the first place). The biggest reasons were UCLA losing to Cal and Maryland losing to Miami. Both of those teams are locks, regardless. In other words, two less fringe bubble teams off the list. It would take a LOT of things going PERFECT for the Zips to get in without the auto bid. First and foremost would be us beating Can't Statecks tommorrow.Random thought: we bitch about the LeBron connection and how it's overplayed by the media from time to time. Had we won a couple more games, could that connection play into the decisions of the selection committee?

What I take from this...barring a miracle (Toledo loses at home to CMU and Can't beats us), Akron and K.E.N.T. are locked into the 2 and 3 seeds, meaning we'll play again in the semis if we win the quarterfinals, regardless of what happens sunday. Man, I LOVE COLLEGE BASKETBALL!!! GO ZIPS!!!

Redshirt. Kinda wish he'd be active this year too, but with J Wood, Romeo, Quade, and Chirs McKnight vying for minutes down low, coach decided to redshirt him. And from what I understand, he wasn't quite ready for the physicality and speed of MAC play. Coach D seems to have made a great move in redshirting him, as he's progressed fantastically from practicing with the team all year. Think HUGE next year with Wood/Bardo/Swiech down low. I think the Zips may be better next year, especially if McNees/Steward can lock down the PG position.Already looking forward to next season when this one's not even over

I think he's 6' 10" right now, and still growing. Expected to top out in the 7' range.
