Maybe the athletics department should have something to say about her ripping on/mocking a group sponsored by her employers?More love, dedication, and closeness huh? That takes a lot of cojones to come on here and say that.

One of the few that acknowledges the crew during game time. Really hope he joined the group without paying attention.*I'm glad the girl with her business hangin out for all to see is proud enough of the fact that a previous post about it from this board is quoted on her facebook (I now know you read this)*Just because you want to go to the "big" game and can't get the seats you want is a particularly stupid reason to start such a group. Notify me once those sections are full every week and you've showed up to every game having to sit at the top. Oh, and if it's the idea that you couldn't join that's pissing you off, 99% of us agree that not allowing sign ups is aggravating and stupid. *Don't want to pay $10 for your shirt and season tickets within 5 feet of the court? Yeah, I guess I'd be mad too if I had to pay $10 to go to one game. Ask the kids in Big Ten schools if they'd like to get season tickets for $10. Hell, ask some OU students. Pay your ten dollars next year and you can get your shirt and a ticket to the one game you'll attend. Speaking of Bracketbuster...how nice would it be to see the Zips rattle off the next 6 or 7 before that game and draw Butler on the deuce? Or perhaps a rematch vs. Creighton? Those are my two dream matchups for Feb 17th...A victory in either of those would be a reason to rush the court. GO ZIPS!

On this topic...I think it's just stupid to come to a game wearing any other team colors, besides the two involved. Don't own any Zips stuff? Can't afford it? Wear a blue shirt!!! On that same topic, despite all the "security" the rowdies had SEVERAL people infiltrate the low seats wearing non-uniform gear. Including a couple girls not even wearing Akron shirts!!! That irritated me heavily with the amount of people decked out in full AK-Rowdy glory up top (not complaining, just saying ) AAAAAAnd another thing. Had an evening class at CBA tuesday night and was looking around the class prior to start and this is what i noticed (out of 71 people). Girl in the back wearing an 'Ohio University Athletics' hoodie. Guy up front decked out in puffy OSU coat and 'O' hat. Girl three seats away, wearing a K-E-N-T sweatshirt!!!!!!! Guy in the front row wearing Zips hat, and me in the third row in my Zips hat. Nothing irritates me more than to see our students wearing other school's colors on campus. ESPECIALLY IN CLASS!!!Rant: OVER.

The full house was awesome. Combine that with the job the Rowdies did on both ends of the floor with overflow upstairs and it actually felt like a big-time college basketball game! Great job Rowdies - keep those end sections full and noisy. I thought the band did a nice job too. Drum line needs to stay. Say what you will about the "K-E-N-T State sucks" chant, (there's only one school I'll ever chant that about), but I was beyond impressed, sitting low behind the hoop, when all of the sudden I hear that lovely chant being started from the folks sitting above in the overflow section of Rowdies. They were also starting "Z-Fense" and other chants as well...If we could bring this crowd every game, we should never lose in our house. I've never been more proud to be a Zip than after last nights game. Did you hear how loud that place got when even the AK-Oldies were standing up and cheering? I will reserve my comments until after wednesday. I'm sure after that game, my only form of communication will be typing or writing. I plan on not having a voice.
