  1. Can't was embarrassed by UNLV last year... and I enjoyed every moment of it.
  2. I would rule out KC as a destination now too as Memphis and Oklahoma are almost certain to head there making it another 1/16, 8/9 and 2/15, 7/10 host.
  3. Bracketology was just updated, Joe Lunardi now has us a 13 playing Purdue in Portland, OR. That seems like a very favorable matchup to me.
  4. The locations aren't static based on seeding though... i.e., Philadelphia and Miami aren't predetermined to host a 3/14 matchup, that's just ESPN's current projection.
  5. So if I'm not a Z-Fund member or season ticket holder my first opportunity to purchase tickets is 2 p.m. tomorrow afternoon and I don't need to do anything in the meantime, correct?
  6. Washington is probably the team I would most prefer to see and that I think we match up against very well... a good team, but we match up against them OK size-wise, they're not a great three-point shooting team, and their bench is short. I also think they overachieved a little bit early in the season and they're falling back to earth at the moment. Florida St. has a lot more height on their roster this year (adding Singleton, Alabi, and Gibson to their front line) and they're on a roll right now, I hope we avoid them.
  7. Akron could be sent to any of the eight opening weekend sites... except Dayton. The selection committee (by design) doesn't give the lowest seeded teams anything that could closely resemble a home game in the opening rounds. I would also rule out Greensboro as Duke and UNC will be playing there and will both have either a 1 or a 2 seed which means that it will be 1/16, 8/9 and/or 2/15, 7/10 matchups there. That leaves Philadelphia, Boise, Portland, Kansas City, Minneapolis, or Miami. I don't know about any of you, but it wouldn't break my heart to get sent to Miami.
  8. I have two favorite teams, Akron and whoever plays Can't.
  9. SO LONG Can't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. TURNOVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. 7.5 seconds remaining, Can't down by three with the ball, just took a timeout.Foul Bulls, foul!
  12. Buffalo sucks terribly at the line.
  13. Ahhhhhhhhh, that should have been Fisher's fifth too!!!
  14. LOL, yes, nothing that warrants an assault charge. Three point game w/ 1:30 to go!
  15. Buffalo up three w/ three to go... Singletary & Sullinger fouled out.
  16. If anyone else was thinking about purchasing any of these games online, I would recommend only doing so as a last resort.Picture quality is substandard (that was to be expected though I suppose), audio sounds absolutely terrible (fuzzy), and the score isn't displayed on the screen. Weak. At least Buffalo is up 12-5 early.
  17. Neither would I... but I wouldn't be satisfied if we were posting wins against them by putting the type of players on the floor who randomly punch people in the stomach either. Thankfully "winning" and "having a team you can be proud of" are not mutually exclusive.
  18. Every time I read something about Zeke I can't help but think that as great as it is for UA that we landed such a high profile recruit, it's even better that he has a good head on his shoulders. I'd rather lose every game against Can't with a group of players that are decent human beings than beat them every time and have to cheer for guys like Evans, Quaintance, Singletary, and Thomas. With a guy like Zeke, it sure seems like we'll get the best of both worlds.
  19. Nice... what exactly is in a Zippy shot?
  20. I was going to say .. those are some GOOD looking Zips fans!! Save for maybe that one guy. B) Go Zips!!This guy?
  21. What's the over/under on the amount of time it takes him to trade in one of those ugly K.S.U. unis for a bright orange jumpsuit after he "graduates"?What a toolbox. People like him make Can't easy to hate.
  22. Please keep 'em coming GoZips88, my gametracker froze up for some reason.
  23. Miami by 13 at half. If that holds and BGSU doesn't cough up their 22-point lead against Ohio, it means we get the four and Buffalo gets the five, right?
  24. Isn't there a mandatory penalty imposed by the NCAA for throwing a punch?
  25. This may sound silly, but do we really want the top seed? The reward for getting the top seed is a semifinal matchup against the fourth-seeded team that will doubtless come from the east. If we finish second in the east we'll get the third seed and very likely have a road to the championship game that involves two matchups with teams from the west. What's more important, the pride of being the top seed, or the promise of eating two cupcakes before playing for a trip to the dance?*Edit: After looking at the standings more closely, it doesn't really matter, there is almost no way that we could play a quarterfinal and semifinal game against teams from the west. Let's just not lose anymore games against MAC opponents this year. *
