  1. If one guy on the the Zips football team were to get the swine flu, who would it be?
  2. I tried getting into "The Bear Cave" forum months ago. I guess they must've had one too many "what sort of field surface will be used on the new stadium" type arguments. Or maybe they're just not patient with trolls from other teams.Yeah, I can't get in either. The general MEAC forum might work, though. You two must be real computer studs. It took me about 2 minutes to get registered and into their site.
  3. Talking smack with folks from Baltimore could wind up with you getting shot.
  4. I think that the revenue side of the argument is interesting. Track is generally considered a non-revenue sport but you have more kids paying tuition than you spend on scholarship. Also, the longer we can hold out in sports that other schools are cutting, the better we will become in those sports thanks to less competition for recruits and attention. Then when things look up and schools start adding the sports again, we'll be ahead. Can you provide us with a list of all the schools that have cut a sport and then added it back later? I'll bet it's a really long list.
  5. Seems like an idea. Just by the activity on this board alone, there has to be over a dozen people who would tune in. I think that's how Rush got started.
  6. Well if a few fans in C-USA are open to adding us, I say lets make the move. Damn those fans in the BIG TEN.
  7. Let's make it clear that that photo was taken before the operation.
  8. I was at just about every home game back then and don't recall your "event." You weren't doing mushrooms back then were you?
  9. So do you think we have the talent this year to finish better than we did in last year's NCAA outdoor championship? (men 67th with 2 points, women 62 with 1 point) Don't get me wrong, a MAC championship is nice, but the talent gap between the MAC and Division 1 competition is about the same as the gap between the MAC and Division III.
  10. He would have been good, the guy known as Bain, if not for that back always causing him pain.My prognostication made with stiff upper lip,Odds he ever plays a down for us between fat chance and zip.
  11. Does anyone have any details on the types of adhesives they will be using with the new playing surface?
  12. Akron would have to offer more than Marshall or WVU cause he would have to buy shoes to come here.
  13. It is quality rather than quantity that matters. (Lucius Annaeus Seneca, 5 BC - 65 AD)I'd expect Lucius to say something like that since he has a 2 inch member. (Adius Bucacus Palatum, 10 BC - 66 AD)
  14. Okay... seriously? how many times is this going to be posted out of sheer ignorance? I think by now we get it... its going to be SIMILAR to whats already in place, however that statement doesnt say exactly what it will be. Is this really that big of a deal? It's a playing surface. Regardless of what it is, i just want some kind of surface for our team to play on. Let's just stop posting this and be slightly more intelligent like I think we all are (or at least should be)Does anyone know what kind of playing surface they are planning on installing as of today?Zipmeister123 Sheer St.Ignorance, Georgia
  15. That's why I'm going to post all my women's swimming news on the soccer threads.
  16. With this GREAT news out of Columbus, the rate of decline in the probability that the Zips will sign Payne slows. Current probability of UA landing him now at 8.67%http://www.columbusdispatch.com/live/conte...0K.html?sid=101
  17. How about the following slogan.........."Only 116 years since our last victory over THE Ohio State University."
  18. Everyone who was born in the state of Purdue, please raise your hand.
  19. It was a mutual decision. The following is the conversation that constitutes the mutual agreement.Payne: "I'm not coming to visit."K.D. "O.K."
  20. I believe he could transfer and play at an NAIA school as well. I recommend this option for him. It would help to grow the chip on his shoulder.
  21. In reality, those are the reasons people feel he will end up at Dayton. Let's not get carried away, the chances of Payne coming to Akron are slim to none.Actually the probability is now up to 13.04065%Alright, I'll bite... what are you using for the variables in your quadratic equation?I would love to share this info with you, but it is proprietary. Good news. The probability of his Ziphood is now up to 13.040651%.
