Buck John Fluem!!! You know, I was born and raised a buckey fan. Once I came to Akron that fell to the way side to make room for MY Alma Mater. Recently I was thinking about getting back into following the bucks casually as a secondary school to team to my Akron Zips, then this was posted and it slapped sense back into me. Thank you Jacob. Funny you say that. I too grew up a OSU fan. Last year was my sophomore year and I was just starting to really embrace my school and not follow the Bucks that much anymore. That game and this play in particular really tipped me over the edge and made me go all in with the Zips. It's got it's highs (soccer & basketball) and lows (*cough* football team *cough*) but I wouldn't have it any other way. Go Zips! I commend both of you guys for seeing the light, and realizing what OSWho is all about. Now...if you really want to impress us...I want to hear that you are still a Zips fans 20,30, or 40 years from now too. For some reason, being away from school for awhile starts to turn people into Suckeye fans again. I was starting to wonder down the dark road but thankfully Jacob came and spread the good word and put me back on the straight and narrow.

for those of you keeping track. iCoach has been out scored 512-182 in his career with the zips.

Here's what bugs me about Ianello. He is either going to run this program further into the ground, or jump ship the moment we see some kind of success and he gets an offer elsewhere. If we by some miracle win out the rest of the season I can guarantee that Ianello will not be here for the bowl game. Anyone else remember his first ever press conference as Akron's new HC? Flat out told people that this was a good place to START his coaching career.

I can't get behind the argument of them not throwing the book at OSU because they are a money making machine. they threw it at USC and they pull in as much, if not more, then OSU. I have yet to read a post where BuckZip has said "OSU is innocent and has done nothing wrong" and to be honest I stand by my point that this is nothing more than intercollegiate penis envy. if you were able to look at it objectively you would say the same thing. They will always have more fans than us, they will always have more money than us, and they will always have more coverage than us. Skip...you just lost all respect from me. You belittled another Zip fan without any cause. If you can prove your statement by bringing 3 “friends of Mothers” stories then I will retract what I said. Otherwise I think you owe Zipseuph an apology. And you also wrote in regards to LeBron: "I completely understand where he was going with that comment at the press conference, and I agree with him" Now I understand you (would not be so brazen to say "completely") and certainly DO NOT agree. I wouldn't normally respond to something like this, but I will because you brought up something that I have complained about myself on many occassions. First, maybe you can explain why stating that many people who live around here have stories from people they know who have had encounters with James was belitttling someone? Do you believe that one person's second-hand account should consistitute a representative sample? Secondly, I come here to state my opinion, just like you. And it's not a requirement that you respect it. If you're looking for people on here to point a finger at for launching personal attacks at others, you certainly won't have trouble finding them. In fact, if you construed my message as "belittling", you're going to be spending a lot of time sending this type of response to other posters on this board. Have fun.
