all great ideas. my question is, how are we going to get this to the right people so something happens with it? brainstorming is great, but it's useless unless the right people hear about it.

The band cheers just as much as the rest of the students. Just because we are wearing polos intead of AK-ROWDIES shirts doesn't mean we don't belong on the floor. If the band is cheering, then why should we be displaced? We have about 30-40 members, adding 30-40 ROWDIES isn't going to change the atmosphere. I agree there is a problem with the way the JAR is set up, but stop acting like it's the band's fault or that we could change the situation. All this aside, you can't put a drum set in the bleachers. I wont argue that the band doesn't cheer. But for every band member, there are two seats taken up. Let's move them up top and put them in their section and let more people down there. It will help ...i guarantee it. this comes up every year, and every year I say. "leave the band there until the Rowdies can actually fill it. if you move the band, and have ALL students sit behind the baskets, than fine. But, to move the band just to move the band is a bad idea that, frankly, makes 0 sense. And for the record, they can fit the drum sets up top. I was in the band when they did up top.

sorry buckzip nothing personal, but after reading this I'm a little upset with OSwho. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=5845736 seriously? these guys play as many butter cups as possible and are always over rated. the big 10 is up from what it was in several years, but there were two times in a row that OSwho had no business in the championship game. (and it showed)

in my mind, this isn't a matter of a first year coach "doing poorly" but rather a matter of someone completely bombing and showing no signs of hope what so ever. can anyone honestly point out a single facet of the game that the zips have improved in?

this is at least the second game where PN7 has scored more points for the opposition than he has for our own team. why in the hell is he still playing?
