Nice to get 3 goals and a result that clinched the 2 spot in the North. Also good pk practice although a tiebreaker was not needed.
Too bad Zips proved 2-0 is most dangerous lead in soccer and got another draw. Over reliance to send the ball back to the keeper or cross it in front of our own net continues. Hopefully clean that up in the Fall.
no. They changed the rules since the previous time we participated in this Spring League. I corrected my earlier post. Sorry for not keeping up with that and any confusion I may have caused. Now the PKs only count for a potential head to head tiebreaker between the teams.
Shooky with an assist.

Thank you. 3/4 of the match was so bad, I lost the little that was good. Malik and Ashton played pretty well. So much of the Zips offensive game was played on the left side of the field, Malik was often left open and could have probably had more of an impact. Why is our team so focused on the left side of the field and the long ball? They don't seem to be able to switch sides of the field like Zips Mens soccer teams have in the past. That coupled with the over-reliance on playing back to the GK puts our team in bad situations. Seeing this continue from recent unsuccessful seasons does make it tough to imagine a positive trajectory for 2024.
Zips and MSU tie 0-0. Each team gets a point in the table. MSU prevailed 4-3 on pks for future tie-breaker if needed.
Disappointing display by our Zips. Indecisive, slow, backward come to mind. Too frustrated to write any more at this time.
