UMU Football is still much better than the crap poor job done by our AD and his top assistant finding someone qualified to run our D1 Program. I’m hopeful that Arth will do something given UA can not afford another change anytime soon. I will not hold me breath, though, given what I’ve seen thus far. Looks too much like 2010/11 Deja Vu. By the way, UMU came closer to beating the eventual D-3 Champion than any other team in the playoffs. 52-59 loss. Fun game. North Central College in Naperville IL (not far from our NIU buddies) looking like the newest D-3 powerhouse crushed one of UMU’s usual rivals in the Stagg Bowl.

Only three other field players besides DeAndre have started more than 30 games in a season (Geoff Cameron, Clint Dempsey x2 and Brian McBride x2). ... ... To me it is unreal how undervalued his accomplishments are. Regardless, he’ll continue to be a polarizing figure for his country. He’s a great player and with Reggie Cannon and Sergiño Dest pushing him at the right back position for the national team will be challenged for years to come. For club he’s battled for his career and doing some amazing things in the top flight league in the world.
