hahaha for those that may miss it, it looks funny.

As I was driving by them yesterday(Spicer southbound is reopened btw) I saw that the sign says they are going to be open in Fall 2010, so one can only assume that they should be done by the end of spring.

I think now the question is whether or not we will have a kicker who can consistently put the ball through them.I did kick a 50 yard field goal on the practice field in street shoes during finals week this spring... Maybe I should try out?? hahaha

I voted for attending all six. I attended all home games and even went to two away games last year(Can't and Ohio).The hype is amazing on campus. I expect to see huge attendance the first few games and if the team doesn't perform well during those games it will decline. But I was surprisingly pleased with the student numbers last year and I am positive they will increase with an on-campus stadium.

On my way home from work today I saw that construction is underway for the Southwest Entrance to Exchange Street. Also, it appears the base for the scoreboard is also in place.

Haha that makes sense then!! I also wondered why I saw it fly away quite a few times. But that makes sense then. If they're already flying in the area it doesn't hurt to make an extra round.I just thought it was specifically for the stadium because I've never seen it before this year and I've been here for 3 years. Don't care about the computer, but gotta confess, I shed a few tears about he beer. The good ones are always gone beforeyou know it. Haha don't worry by that point plenty of it's comrades had reached their appropriate destinations

woohoo, lost my old computer in a tragic beer-spilling accident so I have been M.I.A. while awaiting my new one. But thankfully it's here and I have returned. Boy, I started on page 46 and a couple hours later I'm up to date on page 64!!Here's a new one for you guys. The past few nights there has been a helicopter flying around late at night(midnight-ish) shining a spotlight on the stadium facilities. Is this to keep trespassers at bay? Interesting...

Yeah, I wanted to comment on this. I was wondering when those buildings were going to be removed because after a stop at BW3's for lunch last week I realized that the view from the South end of the Exchange/Spicer intersection is incredible except for those two buildings!!!

I don't think I've posted it much if at all on this board, but Darryl has been my favorite player all season. I wish he would play the 1 spot more often but I guess he feels more comfortable as a 2. He has got a great touch on the ball and is pretty much the most consistent one on the team. Not to mention the fact that he is a briliant kid and a great guy to talk to.

Amen. I said in the other thread, I had an amazing time at Brew Co. tonight. Thanks to Paul and the other bartenders as well as those who are a part of what OBC is for putting on such an amazing atmosphere!!!Go Zips!

Here's some food for thought. Most of which I stole from another thread. But anyway..It's been 23 years since our last dance appearance. Our leading scorer wears #23, as does our dance team in honor of our connection to the best basketball player in the game right now. This player was coached to 2(?) titles by our current coach. And speaking of #23, the Cavs play host to Portland tonight at the Q, where we punched our ticket to play in the Big Dance. In this dance we are playing in Portland. Hmmm. Makes me wonder!!! Anyone have any more coincidences?

I don't know how accurate this is, or if it is helpful, but on my Time Warner tv guide, for the Zips' time slot it reads: "WOIO CBS, College Basketball 7:00 - 9:30 p.m. Akron vs. Gonzaga: NCAA Tournament First Round Game 3. From Portland, Ore."So it looks like CBS will be broadcasting the game in it's entirety, though they are likely to cut away occasionally for brief updates and look-ins from other regions.Awesome...thanks I am at work so I can't check my TV...I tried the Time warner website but that is like trying to get through to their customer service people when the cable goes out.If I can find anyone to come with I may still go to the OBC...never been and it sound like fun.Oh man, feel free to come out even if you don't have anyone to bring. Not sure if this is the same interview I saw but there was a short interview with KD on an ESPNU Bracket Breakdown. He mentioned that LeBron texted him immediatey following the game to congratulate him. Was this the same interview?
