I didn't say this season has been good. If I were to give a grade on Bowdens tenure through September, I along with a lot of others I'd presume, would have given him an A. Inheriting what he did, getting to two bowl games, a conference championship, owning Kent, beating NW, recruiting on the upswing, etc.. it looked pretty darn good. Whatever happened the last two months has obviously been tremendously bad, and made this season a failure. No way around it. I'm not ready to fire him over a failure of a season. You may be, and that's fine. I think the OC and probably OL coach need to go, and then give TB next year to see what happens. If he doesn't want to make any changes, then this is a different convo.

That's a cherry picked stat. One of his "non-winning seasons" included a MACCG. Not that 2 out of 7 is great, but..

This is a really good tourney. Wish we could have gotten another win or two, but how great to get Clemson, St Bonny and Illinois State. Would love to play teams like the latter two a little more often.

Finally hit a 3 after starting 0 for 14

I was able to watch the 2nd half and it was crystal clear for me. Turned off the comments and it made for great viewing on one of my extra monitors. As for the game, I'm not one for moral victories; a loss is a loss. But I'm pretty encouraged. Not gonna go up against many big guys like that. Their second chances in the second half were the difference in my opinion. We played pretty decent D, but couldn't come down with the rebound about half the time once we cut it to 7 or 8 down the stretch. Those hurt. Jackson is a gamer. Cheese has a little Duvivier in him. This will be a good team.

If you think he was able to recruit 25 quality players each year after the sht hole he inherited, sure. I don't think that's the case.

What exactly makes you think Alex is going to be fine? How did his first game and a half compare to Kato's first action?

I think the cupboard was so bare that we've gotten to a point that our starters can hang with anyone in the MAC and then some, but no depth. The way recruiting is trending, that is the next step. I'm certainly not thrilled with the way the season has gone, but we went to the MACCG last year for the 2nd time ever.. Maybe I'm jaded by how bad we sucked for so long, but I don't want to say TB needs to go. I'd like to see some changes on the offensive side of the coaching staff.
