  1. 12,102 in 2013. Don't really care to look further because I know they had more fans than Kent did Saturday. I'd wager we had a fair amount more of our own fans than 2013 as well. Now I feel like an OU fan talking about attendance
  2. Fixed that. OU would have had twice as many fans as Kent did
  3. Well personally I enjoy Happy Valley. Although I grew up a Pitt fan and despise everything PSU, I have a bunch of friends went there and the tailgating is fun. Football reasons though yes, they are back to being good, and it'd be best to replace them with Indianas and Illinois if we're doing B1G roadies
  4. Nice. These are the type of buy games we need. Not at Wisconsin and Oklahoma.. or Nebraska
  5. Well that's just mean
  6. Yeah. I'm bitter and not ashamed to admit it. I hope they get smoked
  7. I would love to read about Ole Miss fans dissing us in an article stating they were coming to play at the JAR
  8. For everyone clicking that link: We love KD and do not want him fired
  9. I actually think a decent arena with some suites and club seating would boost average attendance over 5K. It's not that unreasonable to think there are 1,500 people out there who are interested in the Zips that don't want to sit on bleachers with crappy concession options. I know it was for the MAC championship, but we had to have had 7,500 at the Q, almost an hour away from campus. This is for a different thread though
  10. But at the same time we should have a MAC tourney championship in the last 4 years. It's a fair point
  11. This too. If he "did what he was supposed to do" we'd probably have 4 less MACC appearances. We're at a point where we're all pissed if we don't dominate the conference and then win the tourney.
  12. I don't think I'd call it stagnant. If we scored 6 more points Saturday, we'd be talking about 3 of the last 5 regular season champs and dancing 2 of those years. We obviously didn't. But I don't think that makes us stagnant. If I remember right, we had 1 regular season title before 2013. We have 3 since then. I think that shows we're consistently getting better. We finished 3 games up on every one but stumbled on a Saturday night. I can't argue that we've had trouble in the big games, but I don't think that means we're stagnant either. I think we're all in agreement that we want more. It's very frustrating that we've really dominated the conference the past 5 years but only have one NCAA bid to show. The life of a mid-major.
  13. KD should be on the phone with Illinois State yesterday. There are more of those teams in the same boat as us
  14. Buried in the last line. Not sure who's even gonna make it that far into his article other than the people that are at the JAR every game
  15. Just wait until we host the 8 seed with a trip to MSG on the line
  16. As long as he wants.
  17. I doubt that's the case, but it isn't totally out of the realm of possibilty. This might answer your last question: "It's good for us,'' Akron coach Keith Dambrot said. "Thank God it's Houston because we have a lot of Houston kids on our team. This will help us get motivated to play. They're all disappointed but we're getting over it."
  18. Cool for our Texas kids. Thought they were gonna say the game would be in Akron for a second. Might as well go win, huh?
  19. RPIs got nothin to do with it
  20. Maybe the smallest front court as far as I can remember? However we'll have a stable of guards and wings. I'm assuming this is by design, so I'm guessing we'll be playing with a little more tempo next year. Which is fine with me because that's when we were at our best this year. We are losing two important pieces. Big Dog was such a luxury to have someone to get the ball to when in trouble and know you're getting a good look from close. Kwan made us unstoppable when he was hot. Unfortunately that wasn't as often down the stretch. Utomi should slot right in and hopefully not provide much of a drop off. Ivey really came into his own in my opinion. I'm looking for him to compete for MAC POTY next year. Between him, Josh, Antino, Noah, TDM we have some great options. I don't know anything about the newcomers. It's a bummer thinking that we need to get the whole way back to Saturday night at the Q. Go Zips
  21. That would suck
  22. Ha club baseball. We had a good team until we found out the guy running it was pocketing our money and never officially made us a club. Good times
  23. KD has gotten our teams to more big games than the rest of the MAC combined. He's bound to have more losses in those games. Would I like to have won more of them? Sure. But I guess what I'm getting at is this is a debate best not made fresh off a championship game loss to our rival. We could do a lot worse than KD
