  1. We played like crap but what are you gonna do when they play like that? They'd beat about anyone in the country.
  2. Guys I think Josh is gonna be huge next year
  3. Houston wasn't inspired, there were only 1,900 people there
  4. I started this by saying Houston played well. And here we are talking about how many fans there were. Nice
  5. I'm pretty excited for this. Oh and hey, we're the only MAC team still playing.
  6. Maybe his parents are Canadian.
  7. There isn't a purpose to divisions any more
  8. Some of you guys on here would argue with someone calling the sky blue and say it's really baby blue. Whatever - their AD wanted it to happen, KD wanted it to happen, the last person in the process squashed it. Call it what you want.
  9. KD said we almost had a home and home with Houston. Damn
  10. To summarize: CUSA isn't any better than the MAC
  11. Agreed. The JAR sucks for the casual followers. It's great for the basketball die-hards. You're near the court, have good sight lines outside of the first few rows up top. And it gets loud as heck when there's a nice crowd.
  12. I don't think that's true
  13. It's almost as if those games prepared them to play in big games though
  14. Their OOC schedule this year included Toledo UNCW Evansville @ Ole Miss Vandy @ Belmont @ VCU Georgia State That would be awesome
  15. Yeah that was a great series
  16. I mean think about it: Illinois State Valpo Monmouth Belmont Northern Iowa MTSU UT Arlington Oakland UNCW Charleston FGCU You can't tell me we couldn't line up a home and home or two from that list
  17. To play devil's advocate, the thinking of not rewarding the top 2 seeds too is that the hottest team gets in the tournament, not necessarily the best. Sometimes the hotter team has the better chance of an upset. See OU's run
  18. Agreed! I posted somewhere on here KD should have been on the phone with them the minute that was posted. There are a lot of upper level mid majors that are in the same position who could use the games.
  19. How do you figure? The finals were 1 vs 2 each year it was in effect
  20. That arena is awesome. Basically a downsized Petersen Events Center
  21. Houston is a good team. 12-6 in the AAC is nothing to scoff at. It's nice to see we could compete in a conference like that. So while I don't think that was a great example, I do agree that the smaller schools do generally get the shaft. Maybe Bakersfield will win and we'll get a home game with a trip to MSG on the line?
  22. This is a good point. Besides the fact that it was nice for our H-Town players to get a win in their hometown, what a better way to help recruiting than to beat the hometown team in their backyard?
  23. I'm tired just watching
  24. Agree to disagree. Houston shot 46 percent from the floor and 47 from three. Hate to see what an inspired performance would have looked like!
