  1. We won by 28. Must have been a hell of a run.
  2. Weird, I tweeted the same thing yesterday
  3. Probably because that's where 95% of humans know him from. It's like saying former President George Bush. It's not former Rangers owner George Bush.
  4. Hmm I may take you up on that. My work is in flagstaff, and I'm flying solo (literally I guess) so I'll be looking for things on my last night there. May hit the Coyotes game on Friday night.
  5. The MAC is a great place for young coaches. It doesn't take long to turn a program around. However the pay isn't there to keep them, so they do their part and bolt for more money. Understandable, I don't blame them. I bet Matt Campbell is gone from Toledo after another good year. I'm also very glad that it appears the guy here for our turnaround wants it to be his last job, hope he stays true to that
  6. Cmon man, grow up
  7. You're probably right, I didn't double check the wording before I posted. If so, not very exciting. Would have expected that anyway
  8. I noticed this. I also noticed Big Dog pretty much has his way down low. Made a beautiful pass to Harney who missed an open layup. If Big Dog does whatever he needs to do to get some more minutes, Tree is going to get some very easy looks.
  9. Combination. Zips were much more organized on offense than in the 1st three games. Very good ball movement, players moving without the ball. Good rotation, and of course hitting the open shots when they were there. CSU was also pretty bad on defense.
  10. I don't think anyone labeled it as big news
  11. I still see a lot of gambles on defense leading to easy buckets. Hopefully we adjust to the post-Zeke era quicker.. We were very spoiled in that there were no easy layups once you got burned on the perimeter. Still, I was very encouraged by that game. CSU looked terrible, but we had a lot to do with that too, in my opinion. I'm a little more excited for the season than I was a week ago. Then again, I forgot we were even in the season a week ago as well.
  12. Well it did mention new or renovated arena by 2020, so that was semi-specific/interesting
  13. The MAC has two new bowls next year
  14. The best part is that at the end of the article, they mention building a new stadium.
  15. The line opened at 7.5 and has moved to 9.5 since.
  16. I'm glad we don't have to watch osu in the championship. FSU would have smoked them. Looking forward to FSU and Auburn.
  17. MSU's running back with some SEC speed on that run.
  18. Looking great today. Shame CSU didn't hold on against UK. Almost beating them doesn't help our RPI.
  19. I don't think being a "starter" means much in KD's system anyway though.
  20. Maybe some guys are better coming off the bench. This is the best we've looked.
  21. Regarding the lineup changes... Seems to have worked.
  22. Meh, after seeing them in the Orange Bowl last year and (this) close to a BCS bowl this year, recruits know a MAC school has a chance now.
  23. So basically 6 bowls, with 2 being the semis. The top non-AQ team gets an automatic bid, and another non-AQ could theoretically get an at-large, but like DiG said.. yeah right. I'm encouraged by the fact that a mid-major will participate every year. With Louisville leaving the AAC, there is an argument to be made for the MAC being the best of the rest.
  24. So last night's NIU game got me thinking, since it was the last BCS buster chance for a MAC team. With the playoff format, what is the best case scenario for a MAC team? (Please please please do not turn this into a create our own division/spring football/drop to FCS discussion). I'm wondering what there realistically is for us out there now in the FBS. As much as everyone hated the BCS, we had a chance to "bust" it and force our way into a game. I guess what I'm saying is, what are the "big" bowls now, with the playoff? Can we even get in an Orange Bowl anymore, or are we fully tied to MAC bowls if we don't make the 4 team playoff?
  25. Expensive win for BG tonight. Congrats to them.. Unfortunately a lot of people will see it as NIU being exposed. Which may be true. But it also shows the MAC is more than a one horse show. Hope the MAC can keep it up next year, there's a lot of momentum going for it.
