You beat me to it. Updating the list. RB/WR/KR who can play out of the Wildcat... maybe our version of Josh Cribbs? That's 15 verbals so far, with only 10 spots remaining. Not much room left for this to be a class "heavy on JUCOs", since all 15 committs are coming from high school. Should be an interesting QB battle this spring and fall, to say the least. Rodgers, Nicely, Potts, D'Orazio, and Pohl could all be duking it out and adding a JUCO to that mix isn't out of the question, either.

The whole thing is canceled due to the weather.

Maybe DiG can do some DiGging and see about this. Green city schools are in turmoil and they might be forced to drop athletics or go pay-to-play. Their coach is Tom Stacy and he might be forced out to save on the budget. That's who I'm hearing that we're currently pursuing. One of our 2011 recruits, Dylan Brumbaugh, hails from Green. Stacy knows the university, being our QB coach for 8 years. He knows the area, and he knows the local prospects.

I'm willing to bet more people heard about our championship through his tweet than actually watched the game on TV. This is NOT a bad thing. Stop complaining and keep celebrating! No coach would recruit a JUCO QB without the intention of having them compete for the starting spot right away.

In addition to coaching at NC State, Porter will be heading up the Washington Huskies, DC United, and Chivas USA in an attempt to move unto the USMNT spot for the 2014 World Cup. He will be a very busy man next season.

BAD soccer is boring, just like any sport where the quality of competition is poor. 95% of the college game is bad soccer. Either one or both teams don't play the game in a way that's bearable to watch. But when you have two quality sides like we saw yesterday, it's entertaining even without lots of scoring.

So apparently the team won't be back on campus until Tuesday morning. Not today.

And I hear there's a major blizzard that's likely to delay their flight. More time to party! Good luck to all who are attempting this welcoming party. I'll be at work. I hope the team gets back on the ground safely. It's a mess by the airport. Take lots of video and put it up for us. Sure would be neat if the fans built a Snow Zippy to greet the team on campus.
