OU's biggest mistake was conceding to OSU the right to use "Ohio" with "State" in certain circumstances such as the name of Ohio Stadium, when OU had the lawsuit won. It completely undermined their branding.

I'll say it will be his worst point total, but I won't say "by far". Curry played frustrated thanks to Dellavedova's high-motor defense, and unless he can calm himself down he won't be putting up huge point totals.

According to his twitter (@kwadissmooth), Kwadarrius Smith is now an Akron Zips and a football athlete. It looks like he was a track sprinter at Missouri last year as a freshman. Since he's switching sports, I think he'll be immediately eligible to play this season and he should have at least three years to play. It looks like Akron offered him a football scholarship while in high school.

That goes in the face of all the rhetoric of "polytechnic" encompassing a broad range of academic programs. Also, the president of the Akron chapter of the American Association of University Professors is named John Zipp. Not really related to the discussion at hand, but I thought it should be noted.

The inside of BWW isn't bad, but the exterior desperately needs a facelift. It doesn't fit with the branding they have on every other location I've seen. The Score's new outdoor patio looks awesome, but I haven't been there since they finished it. The only places around campus that really need looked at are the Starz market, the old Plasma building, and along Spicer across from the stadium (which is in the process of having most older houses demolished one by one and replaced by modern Greek housing). You may not like all the empty lots, but I assure you it's better than having abandoned buildings everywhere. Akron is slowly, methodically, and patiently reclaiming nearly all the properties that have declined over the past decades through both public and private means. It can't happen all at once, but it is happening.

The Zips were down 8-1 to Ball State in the bottom of the 9th, but score 8 runs to win the game! Zips will play Ball State again tonight at 8:00 PM. Winner goes to the MAC championship game.
