What a huge win for the Zips! They need to beat everyone they can before the Nevada Game. This win just makes Nevada that much more important. Wining the rest of our OOC schedule and plowing through the MAC is the only way to possibly go dancing. It's too bad this win will not be able to drum up fan support by being in the newspaper. What are the odds that our win is stuffed away in a corner of the sports section and completely overshadowed by the college football news for the day and OSU's Oden guy playing?Is it too early to say ?

Just remember that the players on the O-line were there before JD got here, and they have been the source of most of our troubles (with the exception of Alleman). I sincerely beleive we could have beat Penn State (and anyone else, too) if it were not for those drive-killing penalties on Crouch EVERY time we did something good. I can only hope their replacements have more heart. I am not defending JD, because it is his job to keep his players under control but you have to wonder, would things have been better with his recruits out there instead?

Word has it that Narduzzi will coach Cinci during their bowl game. If they win, I would expect him to be names their head coach going into next year.

A lot of people on the Ohio State boards think Cinci will take OSU's offensive coordinator (I forget his name). Another possibility, though far-flung, is that Cinci takes JD, and we get OSU's OC. I wouldn't mind it, especially since we play them next year. Whatever happens, it will probably happen within 72 hours, so keep your eyes and ears open.

The talent coming in this year to replace the seniors is better than it has ever been. Sure, they are inexperienced but they will be more motivated especially compared to Crouch and company.

Our schedule is not that bad. we play some tough teams like the ones mentioned, and some other teams who are not necessarily the best but should finish with a winning record, which will help our RPI. It sure beats going to some school you know we will lose too just because they payed us.Niagara will contend for the MAAC if they get their disciplinary problems taken care of.Oral Roberts is obviously a tough team this yearBinghamton will probably win the American East Conference.The other teams on our schedule provide tune-ups before we start MAC play. The only way we go dancing is by winning the MAC tournament, and this OOC schedule gives us a great opportunity to be ready for conference play.

I say we stay unbeaten at home(what a big help that's been ), and we pull out a win over WMU in front of a decent crowd of 10,000. Announced attendance will be around 13,000 and we keep our D1-A status.

I seriously doubt KD will let the same thing that happened to the football team happen to the bball team. He has been in championship situations before, and has dealt with the pressure of being #1 quite well. The fact that KD got a contract extension is good news and hopefully a sign that we have learned our lesson since Dennison.

I just received a thing in the mail saying that the WMU game is on Friday at 3:30 instead of 1:00. Is this news, or am I just out of the loop? I could just be trippin, because I've been playing my Wii all weekend. Why would they move it?

I was glad to see Goddard in there for more than the final 30 seconds of the game. The more playing time he gets, the better. The Wizard of Wadsworth needs a chance to re-earn his title.What's up with Rybek? I hope we can still redshirt him or something. PAX and PBS don't have local news programs, and WB calls itself WB Cleveland and focuses on Cleveland instead of the place they are stationed at.

The officials, the other teams, the media, ect. I know we are despised by Miami, but it seems like everyone else hates us too. It isn't because we aren't good in football. Buffalo is terrible and Temple just plain sucks, but they aren't looked down upon like we are. We contend and win conference titles in many of the "other" sports like Track, Soccer, and so on, yet we are treated like nobodies no matter where we go, or what we do. We desperately need to get out of this conference. It is destroying our school.

Not sure, but I know I wouldn't want to be one of the players right now.
