Harvey has earned that spot on the list. He is one of the few people on the team who shows up for EVERY game, and not just the ones where he feels like it. Congrats to Delone Carter. I went to high school with him as a freshman, before he transfered. Looks like everything worked out alright for him. What does that make, 5 super Running Backs form Akron High Schools? Delone Carter, Tyrell Sutton, Tony Sutton, Chris Wells, and Antonio Pittman. The University of Akron needs to realise all of the talant right here in the city that they could recruit. Tony Sutton went to the College of Wooster (D-III) because noone wanted him on their team and he ended up breaking every record at the school, was named the MVP of the Hula Bowl (featuring some of the best athletes in D-I schools), ect. I wish we would at least try to get some of those players. My rant ends here.Congrats to Harvey!

This year had better be the best year in U of A basketball history. With our schedule, our players, our recruits, and most importantly our coach, we will hopefully shatter the shcool win record and finally get ourselves a MAC championship in men's basketball. Recruiting seems to be going well under KD. He started building his reputation at StV-M, and has only gone up from there. King James is a huge help to us, and we owe it to him to cheer him on to the NBA Championship and MVP award for all of the things he has done for us.

JD has said many times that he had a 4-year plan coming into Akron. We are early into year three. The season is still salvageable. A bowl game is still a possibility. This year we will likely go 3-1 out of conference, which is an amazing acheivement regardless of who we play, when you think about how we've played before JD came to town. Next year will be the true test because a good chunk of our starting players are graduating. Wait until then to see if JD's system is working or not. Even with an extremely young team, in what could possibly be considered a rebuilding year, we should have moderate success if his system is working.

Amen! The team needs our support more than ever before. If that game served as a wake-up call to them, we could definetly win out. Can't hopefully will self-destruct because they have no idea how to handle the pressure on them right now. I know I will be at the Miami game on the 21st regardless of what happens inbetween now and then. Go Zips! Beat the snot out of Cinci!
