Did anyone see the ESPN interview with Joe Pa after the game? I think it is on ESPN.com on the right hand side of the college football page. He was angry about how our run defense completely stuffed them. He also praised Getsy again.

Considering how good we looked against the run today and how bad NC State's QB looked, We should match up pretty nicely against them. Our Offense can definetly score on them if we limit stupid mistakes. Look out, here come the Zips for the Upset Special!

Our run defense has improved greatly. We held Tony Hunt to 35 yards on 14 carries. Our pass defense needs some work, though. Morelli was 16 / 32 with 208 yards and 3 TDs. Penn State's overall offense was 288 yards. Compared to the MCB, that is pretty good since Penn State is much better that Memphis.For reference, Getsy war 22/42 with 160 yards and 1 TD. Not bad considering how much pressure he was constantly under. Kennedy had 25 carries for 59 yards and 1 TD.

The game would've been much more competitive if our O-line was mentally ready for the game. I hate to blame losses on people, but 5 sacks and 3 early drive-killing penalties make me want to

The O-line was bad because of three reasons, I think. 1. The Weather2. Penn State's D-line is very talented3. The crowdSpecial Teams looked pretty good. I like our punter, but I was dissapointed that Igor Iveljic was not our kicker.That said, I think that if we work on our problems this week, we can beat NC State pretty easily..

Still, it is certainly an improvement over the last two times we played them.
