I'm not sure about our immediate backups for next year, but I'm hopeful that Sean Hakes, a true freshman who won 2 Texas State Championships in their top division (albeit for private schools) and was born in Dublin, Ohio (on the doorstep of Ohio State), will step in and make Ohio State, Michigan, and others regret that they didn't recruit him. Hakes will have a great chance to prove himself when we play OSU next season. Wouldn't it be awesome if he was better than whoever OSU has as their new QB?

If that's the case, they might televise it on channels 17 or 23, depending on when the Indians game is.

I'm not sure about a broadcast, but I know ESPN will have a gamecast on their website. I know it is not as exciting as radio or TV, but That is what I have to use when at work because radios are banned and our TVs don't have sports channels.

According to Facebook, there are at least 24 people that are going, with an additional 40 more possible. Mabye if we put up a good enough showing, they will want us back for other games and give us a good discount.

I'm pretty sure that they don't card at the door. I found out that they serve Geppetto's pizza, and even have a pizza shop inside for pick-up, and I just don't see them checking people's I.D.s so that they can get a pizza.

I wonder what he will say when we play them next year? Mabye ESPN will mention it, or mabye they feel we would be too insignificant to mention that fact? Hopefully it will be on TV, because there is no way I'm spending $100+ on a ticket, even if it is just down the road.

I've been thinking about doing one of those free Akron shirt promotions ever since I got back to campus. I've seen more OSU shirts and hats than I've seen Akron shirts and hats.

Cincy is not too bad this year compared to the past. They are still a year removed from being good, though. Still, a win over them would be great for the program and give us one of those elusive "signature OOC wins".

Awesome! Now that I think about it, I have to be at work by 2:00 on saturday, but I work at the Kaiser right across the street from the Mall. If you get too drunk/sick during the game, come to my work and let me know the score.
