So according to the EA Teambuilder site, Florida International has their own stadium and Akron is the only one missing. they do not even have Akron listed as an option with their generic stadium....the only team not even on their for a stadium selection...lol They do have the new uniforms from last year including the away version of the new blues we got in the opener however they white versions look terrible. The blue numbers are royal blue? I hope it is not that way in real life or the game...why us? I will post some photos of the uni's later

For those gamers out there waiting for the July 13th release or NCAA Football 11 our worst fear was confirmed by Adam Thompson NCAA Football Game designer via Operation Sports.... Adam_Thompson_EA NCAA Football Designer Re: All 120 School Stadiums in NCAA 2011? "Akron and FIU are the only stadiums that aren't in. FIU will be playing in their old stadium in NCAA 11. Akron will be playing in a generic stadium, as it was requested we don't use the Rubber Bowl." Well this seems par for the course for Akron, another let down. I know it is only a video game but seriously how may times can we as Akron fans and Northeast Ohioians get kicked in the groin, pushed down and get back up. Even Can't got their "stadium" in the game. The Info wasn't finished in time last year to be included...understandable. Anyone want to bet that this omission can be blamed at least partly on the Marketing dept at the U of A? From what I was told by this Adam guy a few years ago, the Universities have to meet EA Games more than halfway to notify of stadium upgrades and uniform changes and allow them to come in and take hundreds of HD quality photos of the stadiums to scan in, and convert them to a graphical format. As of when they were erecting the steel for the pressbox side, EA Sports still had no idea we were even building a new stadium. Us fans had to notify him and send in the plans for the stadium. I really hope the game company just ran out of time or whatever because if the U's sports marketing dept dropped the ball on something else it would be close to the breaking point for me. I am awaiting this Adam guy to get back(if he does) with what went wrong, those who care I will let you know. In the meantime, I am going to go to the Zips online store and purchase a new Home replica football jersey....uh oops, they don't carry them? No worries, I will just head to the team shop at the stadiu.....uh nope not finished yet? Well maybe I will email the sports marketing dept to see when they will have replica football jerseys avail.....uh already did that a few times and never got a response.

I spoke with the art director two years ago via email fron EA Sports and this was when they were just starting to erect the pressbox steel and he had no idea Akron was even building a new stadium...lol Apparently EA is usually contacted by the Athletic departments from the actual school to be notified of any changes i.e stadium builds, upgrades or uniform changes that have not been released yet. Later last year in I think May the same guy mentioned the Info would not be in last years game because their "art" cut off date is in April and they need a fully finished stadium to come and take pictures which the Info was not completed then. I am keeping my fingers crossed for this year but remember if the U of A has to actually be proactive and invite them to come and photo the Info then forget about it. We cannot even get a finished team shop or football jerseys to buy online. I hope it is in but if it is not I will place some blame on the U as well as EA because I am sure they dropped the ball somehwere on this one...too busy planning "Lebron please stay rallies"

Shouldn't they at least release details on who our home games are? At least the out of conference teams. I don't think Akron football alone especially after this past years turd in the punchbowl can sell tickets just because it's Akron football. Tell us who is coming to the Info and then sell tickets.

I saw bad football in the middle of the week for about 5 minutes and then I saw re-runs of the Office for the next few hours.We need to hide these games on Saturday. Showing them mid-week on national tv I believe is only hurting the recruiting prospects. The stands are empty, the football is bad and the announcers suck.Bad televison

I currently have a Direct TV pakage where I get every single channel possible (besides adult ones) and I get all of the Fox Sports regional feeds which includes FSN Southwest.I would check Direct tv....unfortunately mine is a 5 month promo package and I think it may run out before Dec and it is quite pricey to keep all of the sports tiers.hope this helps

Talk to the coaches, then. The offense can only run the plays that the coaches give them.Oh I know...I do not blame the players at all. They are not being utilized properly to maximize their talents and there is absolutely no one to blame but the coaches.If I were a player my patience with this nonsense would be coming to an end.
