  5. Agreed. Beth Nakamura did a great job with all the photos. Gives a nice detailed story. Good effort put into the piece.
  6. I know a team that likes MAC players that needs a safety with a high football IQ. I'm sure they will be at his pro day and have him in for a visit. JB1 projects as a late rounder right now. NFL prospect Jatavis Brown answers some questions. What NFL Scouts are saying “He's probably a safety at our level because of his size so we'll see how that transition goes. But I love his speed, the way he plays with violence and just the way he carries himself out there. I know our special teams coach will be excited to get his hands on him.” – AFC North scout
  7. Joe Licata passing stats for reference.
  8. Yes, it's on Fox Sports 1. Isn't the 303 in Denver? 330 is Akron. The game is at 4:30 EST. A couple of photos of last nights game found here at go zips dot com.
  9. I'm feeling good about my pick after last night.
  10. I wanted to include the question, "When will be the first time the Zips call an off tackle play for a RB?" I thought keeping track may be too difficult. Maybe for a tie breaker, you can guess the time of game that happens in this thread. It will be tough to determine though, and might be controversial.
  11. George Thomas writes about the game. What an awesome game. I'm still amazed at how Akron players were moving without the ball. I love this new offense! If our big guys can clean up their work around the rim, things are going to get interesting in Akron this year. For anybody that missed it live, I highly recommend watching the replay.
  12. Love our offensive tempo! Finally!
  13. Back spasms during warm ups according to SEC announcers.
  14. You don't need to sign up for anything, but you need to keep closing out of ads by hitting the "proper" x. If you have never used it before, just be very careful. Don't let anything download. I used to use this site, but have not for a long time. Too much squeeze for the juice. Way better alternatives now a days. I've never tried the wiziwig site. I'll give it a shot tonight. The game is on ESPN3, it says "your event is about to begin" right now. Like LoyalZip writes, starts at 8.
  15. Warning: Be very careful what you click in this link.
  16. Zips are a 6 point underdog tonight. EA of the PD reminds about the game and writes "The Zips will be without sophomore guard Jimond Ivey (Glenville), who suffered a knee injury in Monday"
  17. They could add the question in text over the video. For a couple different reasons, its tough to mic everybody in the room as well as coach. I'm still happy to hear coach speak every week, even without the questions being heard.
  18. Dri in NY The New York Jets hosted 12 free-agent tryouts on Tuesday, and it's not hard to figure out the theme -- special teams. They worked out seven placekickers, one punter and four kick returners, including Dri Archer and Trindon Holliday. Archer is the most intriguing name.
  19. You could check the play by play of all Toledo's possessions here to verify.
  20. My favorite JB1 sack was from last year in our upset of Pitt. Hope he gets two more big ones in each his next three Zips games this year.
  21. Winners announced Sunday morning. Congratulations to last weeks winner, zippy_ua_00.
  22. I like to hear coach put an emphasis on big plays on offense. They are there for the taking, we need to take more advantage. Make Buffalo defend a lot of the field, not just a little of it.
  23. That's the one I was looking for. Nice work Keen. Go get yourself a Galley Boy at Swensons, like LBJ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dr9DHV_AL64
  24. Food thread.
  25. Looking forward to this one. BG favored by 7.
