Back to the topic, JoPa says he is not releasing Bolden from his scholarship. If Joe Paterno sticks to his decision, Rob Bolden still could enroll at another Division I-A school, but would have to pay his own expenses for at least a semester, or until his scholarship expires. He also would have to sit out the 2011 season, just as he would if Penn State releases him, before being eligible to resume playing.

I moved it to basketball since this is supposed to happen during a basketball game. I remember when coach Lolla would come out during half time and bounce a ball off his knee for entertainment. Now the team is celebrating a national title during this time. How far they have come!

have you seen Akron's quarterbacks? Keep in mind he doesn't have the advantage of playing with the O line and receivers that any PSU QB would have. Have you seen them?

Just basketball? I would say J Ball was a real athlete, he did things on the court I haven't seen since he left. If we extend it to football, D Smith. I have yet to see anybody dominate a game like he did at Ken+.

My poster/schedule/magnet/billboard marketing campaign for next year has a photo of AA & Z with the title "RICO & THE MAN" (we can probably only market to the 35ish and older group though)

Nice find. Great article. I like what I read about Josh. Hopefully he is learning how to become a team player. I like the nickname "Rico" for AA. I hope it turns out to be a good decision to play this year. He seems happy with the decision.

How about, don't post that a certain coach is leaving our team and a certain coach is coming until you can actually prove it, instead of posting a bunch of rumors from unreliable sources. Somehow I think that lesson will be lost by some....AGAIN.

This is probably the fifth time I have posted this. It amazes me every time I see a thread by a few people. You guys don't see the ones I edit either.

I wonder if that would be true if the Zips were able to pull out an upset in September. I'm sure walking out of the shoe tons of Columbus State fans would pat Zips fans on the back and say "that was a good fair game, golly gee your better than us" I would guess the words "luck", "suspension", "looked passed", "you suck", "all time"...would hit the top of the hatred list. It's easy to not hate somebody that you know you are better than. You almost feel sorry for them. You might even root for them in something minor. It doesn't make you better, and it doesn't change my dislike for the program. Just to stay on topic, here are the tattoos:

Easy question for me, took a nanosecond to figure out. Beat Columbus State. I've seen the Zips beat Ken+ PLENTY in my life time already. If you said 10 years, I would have to think a whole minute. PS The Zips team that beats Columbus State is NOT losing to Ken+.

College hockey holds the attendance record for the biggest crowd in ANY college sport. 113,411 k For anybody looking to to learn a little about hockey, or if you are just a sports fan, do yourself a favor and watch HBO's 24/7 series on The Winter Classic. There are two episodes out right now and they are repeating them all the time. I think you might be able to watch the first episode on HBO's website if you have a fast internet connection. I'll predict right now that this series will win some kind of award. It's AWESOME. Even better than Hard Knocks. Funny how Rex got some heat for cursing, you have GOT to hear the Caps coach curse. I just read in today's PG that tickets to the winter classic are now going for $439. If anybody wants to buy Dr Z a late xmas present, I would love to attend. Want to set attendance records at the Info next season Dr P? Call HBO right now and do anything you can to get them to do a series on Zips football.
