IIRC the Kent weekday game replaces the Marshall game.

The Saturday double headers were replaced with Tuesday games. I’ll miss the Saturday double headers, but there are some interesting Tuesday matchups. The Marshall game was replaced by a home Tuesday game with Kent at Canal Park on May 9. We have other interesting regional matchups on Tuesdays, including home and home games against Dayton and Youngstown State (at Canal Park) and a road game at Ohio State. Not counting some interesting weekend games…

It just seemed Kent’s fast start messed with the Akron player’s heads, especially after the loss last week. It put the team into panic mode. We actually outshot them from the three point line, but each time Kent hit one you could see the wind coming out of Akron’s sails. Kent had 10 steals to Akron’s 3, probably a product of the quick start and the Zips losing their crap. Otherwise the stat lines were very similar. I just don’t think we were mentally equipped for a fast Kent start.

They’re two 3’s from tying it and they can’t stop tripping over their junk. JC can’t be happy with that “effort”.

Sloppy sloppy game.

Awful pass. That made Johnny Manzel wince.
