This is FRICKEN EMBARRASSING.
We give up 13 points in three games against a non-FBS opponent (putting 148 on them).
Then can’t beat them at home.
I have no words. Just when you think this program is making a big step forward we get kicked in the nuts.
What an embarrassment.
Tough game against the Guards tonight in CLE. Chris gave up 4 runs in 6 innings to take the loss. Yes the Tribe scored more than that many runs tonight. Of all nights. They’re actually playing toward a .500 record (which might get them into the playoffs.
His next start (last regular season start) is set for August 30 at home vs. Washington to close out the regular season. The Jays fall to 70-59 in the AL East. Good for third place 10 1/2 behind Baltimore.
Awesome news. I live 4 miles from Crushers Stadium now. This just makes it feel like a legit sport again. Now I just hope we’re done hiring clowns to run the program and it can be a legit program again.
When I try to go to gozips.com, my PC (fully updated) will not show the animated circle going around the A, and will not let me go any farther. It's been happening for awhile, and with the fall season coming up is a royal pain. I can get into gozips with my iPad and iPhoned, but not my several thousand dollar gamer laptop. It just started when they went to the new logo.
There's just a lot of things I can do on a PC that I can't on a handheld device. Just wondering if anybody else had the same issue or a fix.
Quote of the day from SportsCenter this morning "Only the Mets can lose a game without throwing a pitch." The Guardians say "Hold my beer." to be continued. lol
Bassitt's career night and Guerrero's blast lead Blue Jays over Giants!
Blue Jays Starting Pitching Duo Kevin Gausman & Chris Bassitt Make MLB HISTORY!
Bassitt's complete game shutout vs Braves!
Per CBS Sports
“Former West Virginia head coach Bob Huggins claims he never formally resigned from his position and wants to return to role, according to letter from his attorney.”
Man it's been awhile since the last update. Chris became a dad for the second time. And he has a 7-5 record, a 4.16 ERA, 77K's, and a 1.20 WHIP. He has one shutout thus far.
The Jays are 41-35, good for 4th the the ALEast, 10 1/2 games out.
Being a retired firefighter/paramedic I have very little patience or feelings for people who get behind the wheel crap faced. Some may disagree with me, it’s nothing personal. I just have a different perspective.
He is darn lucky it was the police who stopped him. If it were another occupied vehicle that stopped him, or a pedestrian, losing his job might have been the least of his problems.
You can consider it freedom of speech, or an attack against a segment of society.
Bottom line we ALL know what the consequences are. Many of us had to learn the hard way. There’s just some lines you do not cross in this society at this moment in time.
I was looking for something to watch and came across a Zips Notre Dame ball game, still on ESPN. If someone else is bored and wants to catch it I'll just say Akron did not embarrass us against a CWS team last year, fighting for a playoff spot.
Chris leads the Blue Jays with 5 wins and a 3.05 ERA. He has 48 K’s, a 1.03 WHIP and batters are averaging .175 against him. He’s been using 5 pitches this season.
Chris is expected to start Monday in Tampa and Saturday in Minnesota.
