At first blush, I'd say this is an upgrade over the Harrison kid that decommitted. As one of the biggest critics of current recruiting, I would like to say "good job". I hope his verbal sticks.

I recently travelled to Houston, Texas and was able to visit 8th Wonder. They are a small draft-only brewery with a small tasting room at the production facility. We had a nice time and I would recommend it to anyone in the area. The Rocket Fuel Vietnamese Coffee Porter was truly world-class. Also while in Houston, I was able to visit the downtown Spec's location. What a great place. Not only for their fantastic beer selection, but for the liquor, wine and specialty foods not to mention the party supplies. You could literally spend hours in there. It was there that I was finally able to score some Blakkr that I smuggled into the Mecum auction in a Starbucks frappuccino cup. You gotta be creative. We got there early enough that we parked fairly close to the arena and it was worth the short walk out to the rental car and our makeshift cooler to get a refill. It sure beat $12 Bud Lights, I'll tell you that. A little closer to home, I was at the Winking Lizard in Montrose last weekend and they had a beer that has been on my try list for a long time: Cheers!

I agree, ZF34. Erika's is great pizza and I like to get a liter of Dunkel to wash it down.

Might be a good time to revive a thread that doesn't have anything to do with names and logos. I have a couple of pizza places that I would highly recommend if anyone is in these areas: First place: Fast Eddie's in Bellville, Ohio. Fantastic place. Small but nice dining area. Pizza is made with a hand tossed crust, fairly thin, but not New York Style thin. Toppings are great. The pizza is made by its sauce, though. I would suggest getting a side of it for dipping purposes. Their claim to fame is the use of as many quality local ingredients as possible. They have recently added on to their dining area but is still somewhat limited. They have a couple of tables outside. No pic from this place but the pizza was great. Crust was rather light and flaky. Delicious. I like the old varsity A logo. I think it's timeless and we never should have stopped using it. I always liked it because it was basically the BYU logo turned upside down and everybody knows we are the BYU of the Midwest.

This talk of UA, Can't State, YSU & CSU combining to create NEOU made me wonder if there is any sentiment to combine BGSU with UT to create NWOU. Then we could make NEO vs. NWO a football trophy game. Think of the marketing possibilities.
