We should be blowing this team out of the gym. We are being embarrassed right now by one of the worst teams in D1. So sick of seeing unmotivated Zips basketball teams.

Last year we lost to Coastal Carolina and Detroit. We can lose to any team...

Zips had a decent first half. Evans is especially playing very well. Streaming service seems like very good quality. Although my internet connection isn't the best so I spend more time waiting for it to buffer. Getting a bit annoyed by Al Pawlowski, but that seems to happen with most biased opposing announcers.

"Strategic" sounds more like it will be a financial or marketing announcement, so nothing too exciting. Honestly, I think if it were anything major we probably would have heard about it already.

3 game winning streak and won 4 of 5. I'd say that's an improvement, especially after the past 3 seasons. Thank you Cleveland Browns and Can't State Golden Flashes...the Zips have just become the best football team in NE Ohio! Keep Bowden around and keep building that defense. Good things will happen.

Thankfully Kentucky was able to win. I just can't root for mid-majors/upsets anymore. Maybe it's selfish of me but it's just frustrating seeing it happen for every school except us. We NEVER get the upset. We come close occasionally, but it is yet to happen. Not sure how many more times I can sit around and watch Butlers, VCUs, and George Masons make the final four. Or MAC rivals make the sweet16 and elite8. Honestly when is it our time?!

Can we go a season without drama. Seriously it got old a long time ago.

Yes unlike the other Akron team, the FOOTBALL team actually won on Sunday. It wasn't pretty but it was a win.

It's okay at least Akron has a good soccer team....the sport no one else in country cares about. KD's teams have been losing to mediocre teams every year. I guess it's my own fault for thinking that maybe we'd actually start the season strong. But like always the only games that will truly matter are at the Q.

The Zips suffer from slow starts every year. So even if MTSU has lost players it's still going to be a tough game.

Black uniforms don't work for Akron. Our colors are blue and gold. I get that black is technically a neutral color, but it's so overused in sports and doesn't look good at all on the Zips.

He only took a few snaps in the middle of another drive and only throw it once? a play that resulted in a pass interference. I think Hirschman deserved a chance to start a drive, just to see what would happen. Honestly it couldn't have been much worse.

Never been so happy to have 3 wins! Three times more wins than we had in the last three years!

Pohl is really struggling today. Has all day in the pocket, yet he's overthrowing everyone. Scary how much he reminds me of Brandon Weeden. Just ugly QB play.

I get that both teams are having a bad season, but it's not even televised on a real station? Signing a contract with Time Warner sports was probably the dumbest thing the MAC could do. Can't went back to the Chargers helmets. Good job being creative idiots!

Just don't get the hype around Johnson. He's just too slow. Personally feel like he should get the RS. Yes it's good to have size, but so did some pre-Zeke centers. Bardo and Swiech? I hope I'm wrong, but we'll see.

Will be nice to see the team in action. But unfortunately a D3 opponent would give us much of a tune-up. Just hoping we can avoid injuries and get everyone some playing time.

Perfect example of how bad MAC officiating is. How can an Akron player get punched in the gut and no foul called? Only until after they watched the replay did they realize.
