I'm far from a QB expert, but something about his throwing motion looked off. Like he would throw off of his back foot rather than step into the throw, which would obviously cause the ball to not have as much zip as you'd like. Anyone else see something similar?

We haven't played anyone yet, but dang it has been fun to watch this team play so far and it was fun watching them kick YSU's butt. Loren Jackson's value probably cannot be overstated. He can shoot, he can dribble, he can create, he plays smart, he has a knack for getting foul calls, and I haven't seen his size be an issue yet. So refreshing not having to deal with freshman mistakes at that position and on this team in general. Luckily we get him for 3 years! This team is athletic and talented. Hard to believe the majority of the players have almost no experience playing together outside of practice...these guys have chemistry and are playing nice team ball. Ivey isn't forcing things (because he doesn't have to). I'm feeling very confident that what happened last season is in the rear view mirror for good and we are going to be back to being MAC competitors this season and going forward. Buckle up...should be a fun season. Really looking forward to our bigger OOC games.

There is just no way Milwee can be back here next season. Hell, he shouldn't even finish the season, but TB is loyal to a fault. It was so painful watching EMU blitz the opposite side of where the running back was lined up every play because this offense literally only has one running play. There was no chance before these plays were even ran. Making it a point to email my displeasure to L. Williams this week. My first want is Milwee gone. Newman Williams need to not whiff blocks and Ramart needs to settle down and throw the way he can.

Somewhat what Dr. Z is getting at, if Kato is good to go, I have to imagine he is nowhere near as mobile as he normally is. Hopefully his accuracy is on point, and the OC calls plays that put him in a position to succeed. The offense likely shouldn't be the same, even if he does play. To the contrary, if he isn't able to play/plays but ends up being ineffective, at least we have had 9-10 days to prep and Ramart should have gotten plenty of reps, so more prepared than last week. I predict a close game either way. Hopefully we can pull something out of our hat. I think a bowl game is important for this program.

Best MAC win in how long??! Actually right up there with their tourney win last year vs. AZ and the #1 pick. The rest of the MAC needs to step up or hope Oats gets poached. I'd prefer we step up to their level
