Riak is the 5 who gets the most playing time and has 10 blocks throughout the season. I'm not even sure I'd call it a strength, though you think it would be with his size and length.

It's okay to be disappointed that Otis wasn't retained (which I definitely am) AND be able to acknowledge the staff has NEO connections AND acknowledge the staff likely isn't complete (as there are some coaching spots not named yet). Feeney and Williams are great tag alongs from the UT-C staff. Cochran was at Kent State last year. Zagorski and Rodriguiz were not on UT-C's staff, though they both were likely going to be if Arth stayed there.

There's really not much doubt in my mind that K-Lac is our best offensive weapon at the 5, not that that is really saying a lot. He's shown to have solid post game and touch around the basket last year and in his limited time this year. He seemed to have very low bball IQ last year, but I think its *looked* improved in the very limited time I've seen him play. It doesn't hurt to give him a chance.

Looks like a FB from Ashland? edit: looks like he only played in 1 game in each of the past 2 seasons and has accumulated zero stats. I think its safe to say he will be a walk on.

I would easily take the field to win 1 game this season vs Buffalo.

What an ugly game. Some great play and senior leadership by Ivey down the stretch saved this one. Need better play from everyone else across the board. We won that game shooting 28% from the field and 19% from 3. Wow. On to the next!

I've attached my best guess at an updated scholarship chart. Couple notes: I included Boogie Knight, Muldowney, and Bischoff as scholarship players even though there isn't a record of them having one. Just my assumption based on getting actual playing time last year. I also removed Denzel Butler, Mark Ellis, Chuck Turfe, and Vince Lockett...players who you would believe are on scholly and have eligibility left based on the 2018 roster, but do not appear on the 2019 spring roster. Based on all of that, it looks like there are 23 schollies available for 2019. As always, if anyone knows of a player's situation better than I do in regards to them being on scholly or with the program, please let me know and I'll update. Doing my best to keep up on twitter...I've seen a few walk on offers are being extended to St. Eds and Iggy players, a lot of JUCO offers, and not really much in between.

Actually it looks like Neal Brown of Troy getting the job. While I'd prefer some turmoil in-state at Cinci, maybe we can take advantage of Troy with the connections the staff should have in that area from UT-C.

Would be thrilled if we can somehow take advantage of a lot of the moving parts after Arth has been hired being that we still have a whole class to fill. Miami HC retires -> Brand new Temple HC goes to Miami. Houston fires HC -> poached Holgerson from WVU -> WVU likely to poach Fickell from Cinci. Late openings after early signing in schools that are in or border OH.

I'm so thirsty for some news. Recruiting, coaching staff, anything....................
