3rd on the team in getting rebounds, considering his size and length, isn't good enough IMO. He let's too many boards fall down to him rather than going up and getting them.

Peter Hayes-Patrick looks like the real deal to me. OSU and FSU offered him in 8th grade! Seems like they backed off throughout high school and he missed half of his senior year, which might explain why there doesn't seem to be a ton of interest from bigger programs. Seems like it is going to come down to us and Toledo, and he already visited Toledo. Let's see what the new staff has!

What does their recruiting class look like next year? I know the board talked some about not expect TB to be able to recruit *if* he were going into the last year of his contract. Curious if it plays out in reality as you'd think it would in theory.

None of that matters when the product on the court is good. I remember back in 2012 before our PG was busted for trafficking drugs, the JAR was setting total/student attendance records nearly every home game during the 19 game win streak.

There does not seem to be many (if any) guys we are targeting where we end up being the only reported FBS offer, which is a good sign. While there's no doubt that we lost some nice pieces in this class with the transition, I'm kind of getting the feeling like we will be pleasantly surprised with this class all things considered. Not quite as good as it would have been, IMO, but likely better than most of the previous classes. It does seem like we are targeting a lot of DE/OLBs and DTs. Probably trying to get some personnel in for the change to a 3-4.
