I agree his body language was out of line, especially for a supposed senior leader. I imagine a lot of it is him frustrated with himself not being able to play at the level he is/was capable of.

Time to put the curb-stomping of week 1 behind us. Luckily for us, we should be on the oppposite end of the beat down this week as Arkansas Pine Bluff is coming to town. Woody didn't look good (not that our receivers provided much help either), but he should get a chance to redeem himself as it could have easily been rust instead of "losing it" or still not being fully recovered. I have some trouble believing the coaching staff would have put them out there if he isn't back to 100%. Kato I thought looked solid. He could definitely be the future...or even present. Feels like the situation a few years ago when Chapman was the starter at the beginning of the season but proved to be ineffective, and then Woody seized the opportunity vs whatever FCS team we were playing and never looked back. Like last game, I don't expect to take much away from this game as it should be a beat down and they should not be near our talent level. We can evaluate whether Woody shows any improvement, which there is no excuse not to against this team. Rust isn't an excuse anymore. I'd expect we get to see some more of Kato as well. I haven't read any post game stuff, but it *seems* we should be mostly healthy going into this week as the only injury I recall on the field was #59. Any update on that @Zipmlady? I know Chapman got smacked, but I don't figure that would keep him out.

Aside from all the bullshit in this thread, I noticed Amato started off the game the first few drives with a 4-2-5 look with Hauser and Gilbert at LB and Brown, Dailey, Featherstone, Davis, and Guiser as the DBs. Is it putting your best 11 on the field? Probably, but I can't imagine its a very smart strategy going against the best RB in the country coupled with a very good running QB.

Let's get some back ups in for the second half. Preserve the starters for games that are winnable and maybe somebody young will seize the opportunity and impress.

You guys are getting quite worked up vs. the #6 team in the country. Will be hard to get a good read on this team until we are playing someone on a similar level. Hopefully Woody can shake off all of his rust this week. That throw to Smith should have been a TD. I'm sure you all will get to see Kato in this one too.
