We need Wolf back, bad.

These announcers are clueless.

They ran your play @K92 . Too bad Smith dropped it...

Out: Newman Williams (shocked), Wolf, Bickley, and Gauthney. Seen getting some reps at TE this week: Nick Johns.

Listening to Zips live....Larry Williams just said Poke also improved his vert 10 inches. He apparently jumps higher than whatever the machine they use records...

Glad to finally get in here before game time. I am stuck watching at home today, unfortunately. Dating back to last season, we now have a 5 game losing streak. I have to imagine we haven't had one that long since our last 1-11 season. Looking forward to seeing the Zips win again and hopefully win the way they should!

I can deal with getting crushed by PSU a lot better than I could deal with getting crushed by Purdue.

Check out the American Flag tinted visor.

OU vs Purdon't right now on FS1

Have yourself a day, Mr. Hunt! I tried to get him in both of my leagues, but I think he got picked up off of sheer average draft position, which was higher than it would have been due to him being named the outright starter from Ware getting injured.

I was hopped up on some medicine last night, but I also believe I saw something with TB and Kaulig on TV right before/during Thursday night football. Makes sense to market to football audience.

We will be hosting the Trojans of Troy...next year is it? I can't keep up with the OOC schedule anymore.

Wasn't it JMU that almost beat us in what was it...Bowden's first or 2nd year here?

George is on vacation, guys.

Isn't that the case for at least half of the programs in the country, being that they aren't profitable?

That "play" has been a common theme over Bowden's tenure. i.e. throwing it long when you think you got the defense to jump off-sides. It has worked more than a handful of times as it'll catch the defense off guard. Not a team like Penn State I guess. Its essentially taking a shot on what is thought to be a free play.
-
What about it besides that fact that it was horribly executed? Or maybe Johns realized he wasn't getting the call and threw it away.

Shouldn't be any player of the games when you lose 52-0.

Cap Capi, signed to the NYG practice squad, is listed by PFF as one of the cut players that could still contribute. https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/pro-cut-players-that-could-still-contribute?utm_content=buffereb93f&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=nfl

We literally *should* have a scrimmage next week. No reason not to be able to see what you have in both and go from there. Woody's issue could have easily been rust, maybe not. No reason to give up on someone who has proven to be a top 3-4 MAC QB when healthy because they play bad against a team who could very likely make the playoff. If he stinks it up against UAPB and Kato looks good, then go with him. I'd imagine Wolf would also help on those deep balls as he can actually go up and fight for them, unlike Bickley.

Saying he is the future =/= saying he should start. But hey, the know-it-alls on here were just telling us how much Kato sucked a few weeks ago when a meaningless depth chart was released. You can lead a horse to water...
-
I agree his body language was out of line, especially for a supposed senior leader. I imagine a lot of it is him frustrated with himself not being able to play at the level he is/was capable of.

Time to put the curb-stomping of week 1 behind us. Luckily for us, we should be on the oppposite end of the beat down this week as Arkansas Pine Bluff is coming to town. Woody didn't look good (not that our receivers provided much help either), but he should get a chance to redeem himself as it could have easily been rust instead of "losing it" or still not being fully recovered. I have some trouble believing the coaching staff would have put them out there if he isn't back to 100%. Kato I thought looked solid. He could definitely be the future...or even present. Feels like the situation a few years ago when Chapman was the starter at the beginning of the season but proved to be ineffective, and then Woody seized the opportunity vs whatever FCS team we were playing and never looked back. Like last game, I don't expect to take much away from this game as it should be a beat down and they should not be near our talent level. We can evaluate whether Woody shows any improvement, which there is no excuse not to against this team. Rust isn't an excuse anymore. I'd expect we get to see some more of Kato as well. I haven't read any post game stuff, but it *seems* we should be mostly healthy going into this week as the only injury I recall on the field was #59. Any update on that @Zipmlady? I know Chapman got smacked, but I don't figure that would keep him out.

March was claimed by Miami.

Penn State just ran a trick play up 45. I would say that is giving a f.
