What a crappy EMU/NIU game. EMU pooped themselves by missing 4 straight FTs only to have NIU choke away both of their FTs to tie the game. Very proud of EMU's 3 fans for getting into it there at the end.

I don't think I would sleep on EMU. Before conference play started, myself, and I believe others thought of them as a top 3 MAC team. Thompson, while a punk, is quite talented. Ray (formerly known as Raven) Lee is the real wildcard. He has accumulated a whole 5 points and a DNP in our meetings this season. I don't know what is going on at the program, but I do know he has been a damn good player most of his career. In fact, he is averaging a whopping 26.8 ppg over the past 5 games (including one 50 pointer).

Is Michigan State even going to make the tourney?

Damn man...if I REALLY need to spell it out and if it REALLY matters here is my interpretation: Some idiot behind the account tried to be cute with a play on words because Bohan said Jerome Lane and not Jerome Lane Jr. Jerome Lane SR. went to ST.V and Pitt, which is why both were brought up in the convo. My interpretation is that they did not know Bohan was a former player, but do know Jerome Lane Jr. You'll notice I said I think it was a dumb joke, which I figured the wink in the tweet gave away but what do I know.

Poke will be a fine player. Not a go to guy in the post probably ever most likely. But he has his role and plays it well IMO. Growing a few more inches wouldn't hurt, but unlikely. Zeke light.

Forsythe was a back up and and Deji was basically a non factor his entire career until his senior year. Sounds like a bunch of excuses to me. We would've got our asses kicked no matter what.

Sounds like you belong to both of those groups that you thought was so hilarious earlier. There have been plenty of trouble makers in my time as a Zips fan. Abreu, Harney, Diggs, Tree, McKnight. I might even be forgetting some. Its refreshing to see that appears to be no longer the case.
