Live by the 3, die by the 3 (almost). Didn't get to watch the game live but came home and watched the replay just fine on ESPN3 with my FireTV. I about turned it off with 10 minutes left until I finally gave in and checked twitter and saw that we came back and won. Thoughts: Shooting 3s are fine. Forcing 3s are not. The offense looked so much better once we started running it through Big Dog like we have most of the year. It helped that he finally starting making some shots as well. Noah REALLY gets a free pass on here. I will give it to him that he is a good "floor general" (Antino is much more under control this season by the way), but he isn't great at defense and it virtually a non existent threat at all offensively right now. Missing wide open 3s and wide open bunnies. A W is a W. The streak is still alive. Beat Kent!

It worked pretty well for the Gateway District in Downtown Cleveland, although obviously bigger numbers there.

Who knows. Doesn't sound quite as bad as the 10 million that was overlooked in the Parma school budget that was discovered by a parent I might add.

Utomi is silky smooth.I've said before it feels like he never misses. Him continuing to come along could prove to be a difference maker come March. I remember earlier in the season, he said he wasn't getting more playing time because of his defense. That made me pay close attention to his defense and I really don't feel it is all that bad. Looking forward to seeing him the rest of this year and his career as he should turn into a key player.

Still can't believe Willie Jackson chose THAT program. I wonder if he sees the standings and is already regretting his decision.

You guys are taking the only team that has beat us in conference play all year too lightly. Almost like you guys are going out of your way not to mention them lol. They seem to have found their stride without Campbell and Simmons straight up embarrassed us in Ahtens. OU and Buffalo are probably the 2 teams that worry me most in Cleveland.

Part of my expectations for them this season assumed Raven Lee would be playing and playing like his normal self. I do not follow them at all, but saw he did not play last night nor has he played at all multiple times this season. Not sure if it is injuries or what.

Watched the replay again this morning (have I mentioned how nice it is to be on ESPN3 finally?). I don't remember Thompson being such a dirty player. Also wondered how EMU got such a talented player. Nobody on here is making "excuses". Its a logical discussion that doesn't fit some agendas, but whatever. We all go to games and are diehard Zips fans and want more people to come. What the hell would our incentive be to make "exuses" as to why people don't go or don't draw as well as other programs? Comparing Akron to VCU is laughable. Comparing the MAC to the A-10 is laughable. The "back in my day" crowd loves to talk about how it was so much better back then. I'm pretty sure I was apart of multiple students attendance records in 2012/2013.

Won't act like the OL run blocking was great, but the way that play is drew up is horrible. It is way too slow to develop. The RBs after Ball didn't help either as they hesitate rather than hit the hole.

I can't wait to see him run this year. Glad to hear the NCAA got it right.

Don't know if anyone has saw, but the Akron social media accounts have been posting pictures with Zippy and Kent St's mascot together. Something is supposed to be announced on 2/13. It is probably something dumb, but I also wonder if it is some sort of partnership. I'm sure LAZipsfan is excited if so!
