Technically was the back up behind Ball but I'm not sure I agree its that ridiculous even though I would like better. There are some talented players in Akron and it is not uncommon at all for freshman to come in and dominate (meaning they too were obviously better than X universities previous starter).

Losing a close one to EMU (who I feel is the other true MAC contender) with Campbell hardly playing at all is kind of impressive to me. Zips best not take them lightly.

Van has decent speed, but not elite i don't think. It seems like he ran right into the back of a lineman for no or little gain on the majority of his carries though. Doesn't create anything, poor vision, and doesn't break tackles. His success comes when he has a hole. Maybe a formidable 3rd down back. I actually can't recall how his receiving skills are. Doesn't seem like we pass to the back out of the backfield much anyways. I just do not see him as a lead back at all. Don't mean to be critical, but others I watch the Zips with seem to notice as well.

Sounds good. Includes regular season and MAC championship if necessary. Deal? Too many variables in potential bowl games. As a bonus, my $60 will be designated to the basketball program seeing as I will have trouble supporting the program if we have another season similar to 2016's.

Kwan not starting is odd (assuming everything is fine with him), but Utomi has came in and lit it up. Also liked the offense there being ran by Tino while Noah was off the floor.

I get where you're coming from, but it won't be pretty if Van Edwards is RB1 going into next year. While I like Suggs and Bridges, banking on a true freshman seems a tad risky.

Clemson RB Tyshon Dye is looking to graduate transfer. Former 4 star RB who has had injury riddled career. I don't think we have gotten any Clemson transfer during Bowden's tenure, but there is at least one obvious connection there in that Dabo was on Tommy's staff.
