  1. Miami is 0-5 on the season. Most of their losses have been pretty close, but one of the losses was also to a FCS team. I'd suspect they may be near the bottom 10 ranking if they aren't already there. Looks like they had a freshman start at QB vs Ohio yesterday in his first action this season. If I recall, they had a nice freshman QB last season. His status is worth keeping an eye on.
  2. Something else that caught my eye...I heard them say yesterday that Kyron Brown was a Redshirt Freshman. I swear he played last season. Sure enough, he is listed the same on GoZips.com. I guess that's good news that he will have an extra year of eligibility than I think we thought?
  3. Want to start to say how proud I am of Chapman. By all accounts, he seems like a great teammate. It's impressive due to his story. A lot of other players wouldn't handle his circumstances as well as he has. That first half couldn't have been worse and he knew it. He had zero time to prepare as the starter this week, no or very little time with the first team offense, but once he got his timing down some he actually played a pretty decent half. I am happy for him. Especially since it was over our biggest rival and his hometown team. Our LB corp at this point is the biggest weakness on our team, IMO. Gilbert is awesome. He reminds me so much of Jatavis. If I had one complaint it would be that he needs to finish plays better. I'm confident he will get there. Bell and Rachal don't do anything for me. No plays made at or behind the line of scrimmage and are huge liabilities in the passing game. Bell disappoints a little more as he is the highest caliber recruit in the whole unit. I haven't seen any development at all and we are near the midpoint of the season. I'd like to see some other guys getting worked in there to see if they show anything. I noticed Lloyd some more in the second half. Junius was listed as the starter over Bell earlier in the year, but I have not noticed him on the field at all, not even special teams. Lako has made a few plays this year. Lastly, have to say that Holley played one hell of a game for Kent. I wasn't around during the Cribbs/Edelman days, but that performance yesterday had to be pretty reminiscent if I had to guess.
  4. LETS FINISH IT OFF!!!
  5. Getting bad flash backs from 2 years ago. Lets get a time out Coach.
  6. Well defense...its time to put your big boy pants on. LETS GO!
  7. Please come through O-Leary...
  8. Jo Freakng JO!!! Prob a touchdown if Featherstone doesn't run right by the kicker.
  9. Care to elaborate? I think he's actually pretty good and well informed.
  10. WOW! SC Top 10 worthy
  11. What I love about Milwee - he takes calculated shots like that when he suspects the defense isn't engaged. Like how we always throw fades when the defense is offsides. Seems to work out for us a lot.
  12. Huge drive here.
  13. I think you're spot on. He seems to be getting in a bit of a groove. Lets keep it up.
  14. There is no explanation needed coach. he was out of bounds.
  15. Holley is getting sloppy with these passes. Turnover coming.
  16. That is if we make quick and decisive reads.
  17. They cannot stop the run.
  18. Welp here goes nothing. Hopefully the coaches lit a fire under their ass in the locker room.
  19. I can't imagine Hoyer or whoever is backing up Chapman brings less to the team right now than he does. We are completely one dimensional. I'm afraid to watch him throw a pass.
  20. Nobody even tries on FG attempts. Thank God Kent Sucks.
  21. I'll be livid if we lose, but that seems a bit over-reactionary. The East is BAD. Give the damn ball to Edwards every down for all I care.
  22. Well said. No excuse not to hustle, but I definitely sense his frustration.
  23. I don't know how much longer we can stick with Chapman if we want to win this game.
  24. Rachal is gone after this year. Bell doesn't seem to be growing. I was thinking we might have to look for a transfer or two for next season but then remembered we have James King, Tony Jones, and Jamal Davis who will be available and felt a lot better all the sudden I and others also like DeMarkus Glover who was a late addition to the class of 2016. I think we'll be alright in the future, but that doesnt matter right now I guess.
  25. We aren't playing flag football fellas. Hit and wrap up!
