When is the last time a MAC team has beaten OSU? Also, we have a chance to singlehandedly prevent OSU from getting 21 wins this season. That would take our famous little stat down to 4 teams.

Pat was a non factor this season. As much as I will miss Jake and Reggie, they were really one dimensional players. Josh Williams is going to be a really special player. Bring two other great guards back, a potential MAC POY. As long as a few new guys are able to provide quality minutes we most certainly should be better next season.

Tulsa has wins over Wichita State, Iona, Connecticut, SMU, Temple, and Cincinnati. Akron has a win over Iona. I don't know why any of you got your hopes up. MAC competition simply isn't good enough for us to obtain an at-large unless we have a crazy great conference record. We also need to schedule and beat quality teams when we play them.

I saw a NIT projection with Akron as a 6 seed at OSU.

Letting one person form your opinion of a site isn't very bright either. It's okay, we're all frustrated.

Congrats to Coach Oats and the Bulls. What he did as a first year head coach AND losing two of his best players (and some recruits too, IIRC) is outstanding. He also seems to be classy as well. I caught him stop celebrating and go out of his way to tell Coach Dambrot good game. Regarding the game, we played good in spurts, but not good consistently enough to win. We looked straight bad at times. I would have liked to see Big Dog get some calls to go to the line a few times, but that's just how they were calling the game last night. They let both teams play. The Buffalo guards played well and hit the big shot at the end.

Beating OSU would be a nice consolation prize, but I'd take us being in the tourney over that any day!

Maybe Akron will get more consideration for at-larges once they join the ACC
