That ought to be a fun match up with him and Tino. It seems like so far this season, Ochefu is their go to guy. Will likely be another good matchup between him and Pat. Hopefully Pat can stay out of foul trouble or it could spell doom early. Nova played ETSU last night and stomped them as you would expect. ETSU came into the season 2-0...with a win over Green Bay, our next opponent. Can't wait for the game. Lets go Zips!

Ohio blew a 19 point second half lead to Tulsa today to lose 90-88. Tulsa seems like a decent team, they just beat #9 Wichita State the other day. My post wasn't so much about actual attendance as it was student leadership not showing the same support for football as they do our other prominent programs.

Yeah I dont mind it really. Sit in your seat that you paid for. Plus it makes crowds look better when people are actually in their seats and not all huddled together in the entrance ways. I doubt most other Universities let people stand and clog up aisle ways.

Really impressive win. Everyone contributed and did their part. McAdams, Pat, and Tino (obviously) I think had great games. Everybody stepped up and hit some big shots at some point.I was really pleased with Big Dog's improvement. I hop he can keep it up and build upon it all season.

Kretzer's career has been largely lackluster outside of the one game vs. Ohio where he didn't miss.

Prefer not to bump this discussion, but I think it's worth mentioning. In both of the home game I've attended this year, I've noticed a pathetic excuse of student section even for Akron's standards.Chants? No. I follow the AK Rowdies on twitter and something has caught my eye the past few days. A ton of promoting for the soccer team (not that there is anything wrong with that) and even a solid amount for the basketball team for as early in the season as it is. However on the other hand, there is hardly anything at all for the Football team. Absolutely no promoting to try and get Rowdies to the games. No soccer ticket giveouts for showing up(like they did for student who came to the Hiram game), no free pizza, no free hot chocolate/donuts, no free shirts, nothing. I will give them credit for having their tailgate, but it doesn't really promote getting students to the game. Students have a lack of interest in the football program, and unfortunately part of the problem is a lack of interest from student leadership. Pretty pleased with the first half. Nice team effort all around, but boy, what a sloppy end. 4 turnovers in the last 5 possessions to close out the half. Lets pick up the intensity!

another place to look for links is reddit. They usually have game threads for college games (especially if it includes a power 5 team) with links in them. Thats how i watched our Oklahoma/Akron game this year. I don't see any for this game, though.

SEC network is owned by ESPN. Assuming you have a major cable provider, you can login to WatchESPN and stream the game. Let me know if you aren't able. Hopefully Josh's issue is adjusting to the speed of the game at the collegiate level and he will improve on it at as time goes on.

Thats really impressive when you compare his size to some others on the team/the history of the program. He doesn't have that "barrel chest" either where he doesn't have to bring it down very far.
