  1. I like getting the ball in Granger’s hands (unless it’s a punt).
  2. He's in year 4 of overseeing a FBS program, and might as well have gotten a first year pass with the firing of Arth.
  3. key word in @kreed5120's statement is consistently.
  4. Maybe other facilities might be a little more middle of the pack now, but I don’t recall reading of any brand new stadiums
  5. My thoughts: I am growing sick and tired of watching a woefully inept offense, considering our HC is supposed to be an offensive mastermind. Our best offense was in his first year year. It’s only gotten worse since then. DJ Irons deserves a lot more credit than he got.
  6. Bright spots and ugly spots on both O and D in the first half. Special teams pretty good all around though! let’s put it all together and win the damn thing.
  7. Yep. Run for loss, finely incomplete pass, finely sack feels all too predictable
  8. OU has a backup RT in, but no Nunnally for whatever reason. Don’t get that.
  9. Game feels like it’s trending in the wrong direction. Can’t run the ball. Finley gets text book tackled and is acting gimpy.
  10. Good opening possessions on O and D, aside from the 3 penalties racked up already.
  11. Win to open MAC play, against OU on homecoming no less, would give the program some momentum and could be the start of “the turnaround”. From a talent perspective, OU is probably worse than last year and we’re a little better. We had a double digit lead at the half last year. OU should be the favorite, but this is a winnable game. LFG!!
  12. I can't keep up with the rules (or lack thereof) anymore, but may be required considering he transferred twice in one year.
  13. Kick em out if they accept. All in or all out.
  14. Is his game tape really anything impressive? Thrown for 318 yards over 3 games with a completion percentage of 43.8%. Solid rusher, but only 84 yards a game. Passing appears to leave a lot to be desired. Rushing is good, but not out of this world numbers..
  15. Tyus might be as good as Bangura, but Navarro/Poulos are certainly not as good as Rourke!
  16. Speaking of this, it is that time of year players enter the portal to preserve a year of eligibility. Wonder if we have any Ryan Johnson-like quitters this season.
  17. Certainly don’t think Moorhead is perfect, but he’s the highest caliber coach we’ve ever had here. The program not turning around as quick as we’d like just shows how bad it was when it was taken over. Unless you get a PJ Fleck or Sean Lewis type, which Im honestly not sure I prefer due to the flash in the pan nature of success those programs had, I think the formula to having a good program is having the right guy in place and being patient. Chuck Martin, Scott Loeffler, and I believe even Jason Candle a few years ago were all on the hot seat at some point in their tenure, but ultimately got it turned around. Continuously improving the program over a number of years, building culture, and developing replacements from within is the key to having a MAC program that can have sustained success. Looking forward to MAC play. I’m probably leaning towards 4 wins this season, but that’s more than double in any year we’ve had since Bowden. Step in the right direction and I firmly believe the program is back to a bowl in 2025 with another offseason to improve.
  18. Disappointed to not see a couple of guys on this list. Primarily some other TP/JUCO additions who are now in their second season with the program and aren't sniffing the field (and didn't last year either).
  19. I like how our pressers are 5 minutes and Ohio’s is 20…
