I dont see it as an act of desperation, I see it as a step in the right direction. Most other big time programs already do this..if we want to become big time, whats wrong with this move? Not surprised most of the pessimists on here see it as a desperate move, though.

Its just annoying seeing this team not playing to their full potential. Could be much better if they could ever put a full game together.

Didnt somebody post that we have the top 1 or 2 attendance for MAC games this season? That shows we have one of the better fan bases in the MAC. I believe the reason nobody comes to the games is because nobody wants to see us play Miami. Now the Can't St and OU games (schools that people want to actually see us play) have great attendance. I dont think we have bad fans, we have bad opponents that nobody is interested in.

Oh, so you mean they dont root for teams from the area they are from and its ok? Kind of like how some people from the akron area root for OSU and they are the worst fans ever? Ironic.

Some of you are just too negative. The MAC has its good teams like NIU, Ohio, Temple, Toledo and then its bad teams just like any other mid major. What was the MAC's bowl record this year again?

IMO, a real coach is somebody who not only is there for their players on the field, but off of the field as well. Campbell already proved that he could play, why not let him back with the scholarship? If I was in Tyler's position, honestly, I probably would have relapsed as well. Football, or any sport in general, is something that keeps a lot of people busy and out of trouble. Some people NEED that, and apparently Campbell was one of those people, and I dont blame him. Props to Brookhart for offering him a spot at Colorado, just very unfortunate that he was no longer NCAA eligible.

It was a good play by Blackburn, but the catch was nothing special. Browns WRs(they suck) and they could still make that catch. The DBs can as well. now hush with all your browns hate, its annoying.

Wouldnt mind playing Georgetown. Definitely a team we can upset (though I believe if we are at full strength we can upset anybody). OU upset them a few years ago in the tourney.

lol. you are making more of it than what it is. The issue here is that the students dont know. I was a rowdy last year, was intending to this year, but i just never got around to signing up. I still attend many games though, and have never sat down low. Why? because the first I've heard about getting a wristband to sit down low is on this forum, yesterday. If somebody who attends a majority of the games doesnt know how to be able to sit down low, how do you expect the casual student fan to know?

yea...the Browns actually have a pretty solid secondary..but lets not use facts here.
