Agreed. Forsythe being on the floor means minutes will be taken away from Tree, who is our best rebounder.

Cant finished the season strong last year, winning 5 of the last 6 (I believe). I think they are a legit team, but not quite on the level as the other top teams in the conference.

I think it is pretty understandable for fans not to want to come watch a program that has won 3 games in 3 years. The fans that attend support the Zips. I can name plenty of other reasons for a quality player to become a Zip, most importantly WINNNING

Defense, Defense, and Defense. Preferably a mix of JUCO and true freshman. I think on offense we are pretty well set for the foreseeable future. A lot of young talent there with Pohl, Lawrence, Chisholm, Pratt, Davis, and Hundley.

ugly game. Offense couldnt ever get clicking. Defense was solid, IMO. Even though we were ran over in the second half, I feel the offense and all of their 3 and outs had a lot to do with it. We were out coached. It was clear who made the proper adjustments after halftime.

Agreed. I think it would be neat to have huge blown-up pictures hanging on the wall underneath the stands where the concessions are. Too plain in there.

I am not one to place blame on officiating, but those officials took control of the game. They did it on Miami's drive before the end of the 1st half, and their final drive of the game, arguably giving them 14 points. Looking at the replays, there was probably 1 of those personal fouls that should have been called, when one of the players late hit Dysert in the head. I hope the secondary, especially Ford, keeps up with the physical play, though. Those refs should be under review, because what happened out there wasnt right. Reviewing a penalty, only to reverse it and call a penalty on us?? You can't do that. I get that our defense sucked. I think a large part of this was because of the constant confusion our secondary had pre-snap every play. Guys mismatched, guys left open, etc. Whether it was the coaches or the player's fault, it is inexcusable not to know your assignment.

Every game is definitely winnable. I said 4 games, being optimistic earlier in this thread. I'll now change that prediction to 5. Hopefully that prediction shows to be conservative. I do think we upset one of the "big 3" in NIU, Toledo, or OU.

Isnt Goodman a converted QB? You know TB has ZD holding for a reason, instead of somebody like Pohl. He has something up his sleeve he is going to breakout at some point .

Curious how he broke it. Was it on the big catch where he got lit up?
