Since the board is booming with enthusiasm, I figured I would start a game thread. On serious note, if we upset them, I would consider this season a success, even if we dont win another game after.

Guess I should have looked at it a little better. So basically, its essentially exact same thing, just on opposite sides, and taking one section of behind the basket seating away from the Rowdies/students (extremely dumb). However, something tells me Rowdies will end up sitting next to the band and recruits will be sitting right behind the bench, like it should be. We will see how well the enforce students to sit in section 11, rather than let them sit on either side at the top. Extremely poor planning by the University, creating very little home court (advantage), also hurting attendance because it stops students from feeling involved in the game. I can only blame the University so much, though, due to the poor design of the JAR

Thankfully the SEC is finally cracking down on over-signing (I think). Also, Coach isnt going to revoke anyone's scholarship for no reason. I feel like I may have lost a few brain cells reading this discussion.

There is nothing new about that student section. Was the exact same last year.

You guys are making the assumption I knew it was for Coaches vs Cancer. If many coaches were there, Dambrot didn't have to sit with them.

Eh, the same could be said about most conferences, except that the MAC has more "impressive" teams than other conferences this year. 6 bowl eligible teams is the second most in the FBS. The thing with the MAC is they arent a "big 6" conference and have the luxury of scheduling down 3 out of their 4 OOC games.

have my posts seemingly been either edited or completely deleted the past few days? I ask about one of our coach's past. My post get deleted. Do we want to pretend it never happened or what? I make a comment about posters making fun of recruits making the program look bad. That gets edited. I dont mind if my posts are deleted because they are inappropriate, but I do not see a reason why either or those should have been edited. There are plenty of worse posts on here calling people "dumbasses", etc. Wouldnt be surprised to see this thread get deleted without explanation.

Seems like a solid player and a better person. The kind of players I want playing for Akron.South is one of the better programs in WV.

Depends on what you consider "turning around". We have won 3 games in 3 season. It is unrealistic to think this team could have a winning season.

Its a pretty simple concept really. College programs arent turned around overnight no matter how much we hope and wish.

ever heard of Juco, or transfers, or you know...players actually developing?

He is a solid player that made some dumb mistakes. (Throwing the ball at an OU player down in OU). He had his bright moments along with his dumb ones. If whoever replaces him will be in that middle ground, I will be content.
