I was thinking about attendance as well during the game. Student attendance looked subpar, as did the general attendance. I give our students a little break in that the population is half of what it was a decade ago and I think in general they show up in decent enough numbers and are rowdy. What’s Joe Akron’s excuse? Lot of empty chair backs and bleachers. attendance stinks all around. Groce and the team deserve better. The program is every bit as good (if not better but not really worth debating) as it was when KD was here.

Any win against OU is good one, though they seem like a second tier MAC team this year. Heck of a game by Freeman. Weird night where X’s shots just weren’t falling, but everyone else’s were. We needed it.

Yeah the Miller situation is a bit puzzling. Picked up an offer to SDSU and decommitted from us not long after. Never committed to SDSU. Recently went on a visit to Central Arkansas, now the walk on offer to Ole Miss. No idea what’s going on with his recruitment.

Groce once recruited that big boy.

Morris just announced his commitment on twitter. Do we think his recruitment was limited by his off the field incident, is he a developmental project, or a little of both? It looks like his only other D1 (FCS) offer was to Incarnate Word. There doesn't seem to be much out there on him in terms of recruiting profile even.

A lot to digest here, but thanks a lot @catdaddyp! Kent State and WMU lost a lot of talent, with 7 and 6 guys going up to P5 respectively. Though Kent has also hit the portal hard.

Unsure who this might be, but looks like another OL incoming. Hoping for a transfer.

That’s too bad. I saw his stats the other day and they aren’t good. Can’t imagine he thinks his decision was worth it right about now. Wonder if he’d want to come back as a grad transfer.

Not to mention, 2021 was his first year in the program. Prior to that he was in JUCO. Definitely the opportunity to correct the little things in 2023. He has the tools.

Pretty decent signee out of HS that never foudn a way to get in the field. Don’t recall if injuries were an issue in his first two years or not, but don’t believe they were this year.
