  1. All three matches at host's site? Or does #5 seed host the play-in match? Should I even care?
  2. You are probably right. I am not sure how a 6 team tournament works.
  3. We will need to win two tough matches on hostile soil just to get in the tourney. Probably at WV. There will be no at-large invite from the MAC. I am not so hopeful. We are fortunate that MAC tourney rules changed this year so that all are invited. Using last year's rules, we would have nothing left to play for this season. We would effectively be done; bench all the seniors. I could not tell who turned over because the camera work was so shoddy. But I will say these two things: 1. We pass back to the GK waaay too much. Teams are totally sitting on that pass. 2. I really miss Niko De Vera playing LB.
  4. Has MAC Tourney ever been in Morgantown WV before?
  5. Way too reliant on passing back. I am sick of it.
  6. Rubbish defending! Man left unmarked in box for free header. Level.
  7. My family vacation videos have higher production values than this stream.
  8. Holy shite, what terrible camera work. Did we score?

  10. You are still not getting it. It took me a while as well, so don't feel bad. It is not that RPI matters more in NCAA Men's Soccer than do the variety of popular polls. The real point is that these polls do NOT. MATTER. WHATSOEVER. Even the so-called Coaches' Poll is irrelevant. That is how there is such huge discrepancy across the six or seven (maybe more) polls. My personal College Soccer poll that I conduct at noon everyday in Perkins Park is just as important as the one from College Soccer News, or Top Drawer Soccer, or whatever the flock soccer poll. These polls are unfortunately nothing more than a marketing gimmick, one that the wise ignore. I look forward to the time in the near future when SIDs stop treating NCAA Soccer like sports with which they are already familiar. Don't believe the hype! As of this writing, Zips have an RPI of 32, so that is their ranking. Yes, they were overrated early this season.
  11. Wil Trapp. That's with one L and two Ps. He should captain the USA through WC qualification. Fine leader. Technically flawless. Love Wil Trapp! I love DeAndre Yedlin too, also one of my all-time favorite Zips! Great guy from a great family! I well with pride every time I watch DeAndre play professionally, especially when he dons the USA shirt. BUT, what the Hell was Yedlin thinking about during that Friendly vs. Peru? His body entered the match, while his mind evidently did not. @yedlinnny. Come on, Man. These young USA players look up to you, DeAndre. Be the leader they need you to be. USA Soccer needs you now more than ever.
  12. Player clearly was shooting in frustration while game ending whistle was still blowing. No RC deserved. No way! Worst referee I can remember. And I do not generally remember refs (boring).
  13. Well, I for one, will remember it going forward. I only hope that Zips coaches emphasize it more than they seemingly have. Every year there is a player flirting with YC suspension. And it is rarely from only playing hard.
  14. There you have it, chapter and verse. I cannot recall a player reaching YC suspension through smart and sportsmanlike play. At minimum, two of the YCs involved are from utter foolishness. And that is all it takes. Check the box scores. Many players cruise through a whole season garnering 1-3 YCs. Not uncommon at all. We all know the occasional YC comes through aggressive play. But if one has five YCs in mid-October, one is going about it all wrong.
  15. 5 YC = 1 match 3 YC = 1 match 2 YC thereafter = 1 match By the time one earns 10 YCs in a season, perhaps a different pastime should be considered.
  16. Marcel Zajac is rounding back in form. He had a fine outing. Carlo Ritaccio is growing up right before our eyes. He played like a MAN tonight. Probably his best match as a Zip.
  17. Presumably a coaching decision.
  18. Yep. If Egbo stays (big if), Zips will be really something special next season.
  19. Watch out for this guy! https://gocreighton.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=5052
