AKRON, Ohio – The impending landfall of Hurricane Florence has necessitated a scheduling change for the University of Akron men's soccer team on Saturday, Sept. 15, as the Zips' scheduled opponent – Connecticut will be unable to make it to FirstEnergy Stadium – Cub Cadet Field due to travel considerations associated with the storm. Akron has added Canisius to its schedule as a replacement for the Huskies on Saturday, Sept. 15, with the Zips hosting the Golden Griffins at 7 p.m. Canisius was tabbed to win the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference this season.

North Carolina 2 Pitt 1 2 overtimes Connecticut 1 Dartmouth 0 Cal Santa Barbara 1 Butler 0

Let's hope that Z.I.P. enjoys watching a zips win on the PAC network...and that he keeps us nice folks on the zips nation board updated...with his thoughts on the game

Sanchez at SiU-E....is a very good coach SIU-E....could be a more dangerous MAC opponent this year than Western Michigan I am glad that the zips play SIU-E late in October. Hopefully, the young zips will improve during the year. SIU-E plays Grand Canyon tomorrow....2 zip opponents and both are pretty good https://www.topdrawersoccer.com/college-soccer-articles/siue-shuts-out-wisconsin_aid44764

That still does not excuse the lack of focus. There is absolutely no excuse for that goal being allowed. 90 minutes of effort.....required every game. I know that this team has many young players but they have to focus.
