To be clear I was commenting on the timeline when you can contact players you need not the dead period. Akron could have used a serviceable big last season and again this season.NIL deals(the collective)help recruiting. Bryce James in now considering Duquesne his dad can help him sign autographs and conduct a camp or two.

There’s being proactive recruiting and the portal.Name, Image, and Likeness is giving the NCAA pro element.Akron has had more transfers than western union.Akron has to run with what they have because they won’t pony up or can’t pony up?

You can win “em” all.But if you struggle with Miami of Ohio and St. Bonaventure, You might struggle with Kansas State or Creighton come tournament time?Another serviceable big is needed.

To bad the Zips don’t have a serviceable big that rebound drive to the basket and shoot.Thats the difference IMO.

The Zips need a serviceable place kicker.

IDK. UNLV lost to Southern University and A&M by 14 at home.The only constant production is from a walk on.The Zips seem to be undersized and have a lot of players that are projects.

JG teams have overachieved since he’s been at Akron.The best player on the team is a walk on.The problem with Akron is strength & conditioning along with recruiting a serviceable big.The Zips run out of gas to oftentimes like yesterday and tonight.

The Strength and conditioning and recruiting coordinators are challenged. During MAC play the Zips always seem to run out of gas.

For what it’s worth with Uk & IU the Zips lose, but win.The U of A gets about $2 million.With those games they know what they have and don’t have mentality and physically.Physically the Zips can win the MAC but mentally maybe not.Play with confidence young people.Joe Mo should ask KD to speak to the players.

I went to a Big East game and watched him play he didn’t look overwhelmed to me.Ali actually looked 20 pounds bigger and stronger.

OSU beat E.Washington at Gallagher IBA in Stillwater last night.The renovations were finished in a week?

OSU is playing at Youngstown State and Villanova is playing at Liberty in the NIT. These two schools don’t mind traveling.

Tribble, also fouled out of the last two KSU games. The Tribble bring the ball up philosophy didn’t work against KSU or UT.X and Freeman needed scoring help Tribble couldn’t provide it he starts.

Tribble has played four years now and has not developed a jump shot. He slashes to the paint where defenses collapse and strip the ball. I watched it happen all year most recently last night.Although he does play great defense and can jump out the gym.He’s challenged at shooting and dribbling.He gets in the way a lot on offense.I think Joe Mo could find a position for him.
